Arsenal In Trouble? Hilarious Reactions To White Hart Lane Humbling
Despite getting the year off to a good start, Arsenal’s humiliating defeat to North London has yet again left fans fuming at manager Arsene Wenger. For the first time in his 19-year reign at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger could very well fail to qualify for the Champions League with the race for the top four spots the tightest it has been for many years.
This reality is not lost on many Arsenal fans and many have taken to social media to blast their team, as well as their manager, after the defeat to Tottenham.
@RamblinGooner I’m not even close to being wenger out, but everyone could see the goals coming, y didn’t he change any tactics at ht!!!

After thinking it over, I reckon yesterday was just a blip. Players were poor, and Wenger’s tactics were off. Happens to the best.

If wenger can’t & doesn’t finish ahead of that clueless Lvg and his lot, then #WengerOut. 97-2006 was great. 2007-2015, Not so much.

Judge me in 2008 2009. Judge me in 2011 2014. Judge me in May 2016. Judge me at end of season 2017. New deal for Wenger #WengerOut

If you thought those were cringe-worthy, take a look at resident Gooner, Piers Morgan.
Harry Kane wouldn’t get on our bench. #afc

Wenger just sat there after 2nd Spurs goal, scowling & preparing his excuses. No passion, no inspiration. #afc #WengerOut

One 2nd-tier trophy in ten years. 6th in the League. #WengerForever

Yes, I would take Jurgen Klopp at Arsenal tomorrow. Young, dynamic & won 2 Bundesliga titles in last 5yrs. Ready for a new challenge. #afc

With the defeat, Wenger acknowledged that his team played poor on the day however, it didn’t stop the veteran Arsenal manager to place the blame on the officiating.
“We were not very good. The referee was at our level,” Wenger said. “The regret I have is that we gave him [Kane] a cheap goal. It’s worrying at the back that with five minutes to go we are always there ready to make a mistake.
“We are not in a good day; that is for sure. Both goals were cheap goals. Cheap goals. We didn’t produce enough.”
Arsenal will hope to bounce back with a win against Leicester City on Tuesday.
