How To Watch ‘Better Call Saul’ Online: Catch The ‘Breaking Bad’ Spinoff’s Premiere

Fans who want to watch Better Call Saul online will be in luck, with AMC offering a handful of options for those looking to get their Breaking Bad fix.

The show, which premieres Sunday at 10 p.m. ET and will have the second episode air on Monday at 10 p.m. ET, will bring the Breaking Bad universe back to life through lawyer Saul Goodman.

Better Call Saul has gotten some good early reviews, generating a lot of interest beyond just fans of Breaking Bad. AMC is responding to the popularity, offering fans chances to watch Better Call Saul online across a number of different formats (links at the bottom).

The show was created by Breaking Bad showrunner Vince Gilligan and writer and producer Peter Gould, and brings back some other favorite characters, including do-it-all “fixer” Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks).

Better Call Saul follows lawyer Jimmy McGill as he transforms into the outlandish and questionable lawyer Saul Goodman. It takes place before the action in Breaking Bad, but will include many of the same characters and elements.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Gould warned fans that they wouldn’t simply be watching Breaking Bad 2.

“It’s tough. We have this glorious thing — a built-in audience that knows this character and that’s interested in the world of the show — but the truth is, this isn’t Breaking Bad.”

AMC Chief Charlie Collier added that Better Call Saul would be able to stand on its own.

“The fact that there are surprises along the way for the Breaking Bad fan, that’s phenomenal. But we really are trying to launch it like season one of Saul, not a continuation of Bad… [And] hopefully [fans] will find enough excitement and challenge to this show where they will say it’s fun and they can’t wait to see what happens next.”

Fans who want to watch Better Call Saul online can catch it on VOD, amc.com, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Xbox — but they’ll have to wait. AMC will put episodes up one day after they air.
