Florida Man Puts ‘Drug Dealer’ Down On Arrest Report


A man in West Palm Beach, Florida was arrested on Tuesday after he cut in front of an unmarked cop car while driving in a stolen vehicle.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies indicated that the 25-year-old man, Robert Phillips, nearly caused a crash when he cut in front of the unmarked cruiser.

Another Florida man was arrested for killing five small alligators and chopping off their tails in preparation for a Super Bowl dinner.

The police report indicates that the detective who was cut off then followed Mr. Phillips and watched him engage in a drug transaction, at which point deputies in marked cars caught up to him. He then fled at a high rate of speed before he was eventually caught and arrested while in possession of $2,316 in cash, 22 grams of heroin and 5.3 grams of crack cocaine. The crack-cocaine was discovered in his vehicle. He facing multiple drug charges.

WFTV indicated in a report that the Florida man listed his occupation as “drug dealer” on the arrest report.

Phillips remains in jail on a $242,000 bond.

There is no indication that he has an attorney, according to NBC Miami.

In other recent Florida news here on Inquisitr, a man in Florida, Gary Palmer of West Park, was caught exposing himself to his neighbors by his own security system. He was arrested after he showed a tape recorded by his own home security system to authorities. Authorities confiscated the tape in which it’s alleged Palmer can be seen standing in his yard wearing nothing but a green robe while looking in the direction of his neighbor’s home and masturbating.

Letroy Guion, who plays for the Green Bay Packers, was arrested in his hometown of Starke, Florida. The NFL player was caught driving with 357 grams of marijuana, a handgun, and around $190,000 in cash.

In more crime related news in the Sunshine State, the SWAT team was deployed to a scene at which a lone naked gunman was perched on top of a roof threatening to kill himself. He was arrested without any injuries to bystanders or law enforcement. At one point, he was apparently rolling around the rooftop. He also asked to speak to his preacher.

Police in Jacksonville are searching for a barbecue bandit who robbed a local BBQ joint, Jerome Brown BBQ, for about $4,000 between meat and other supplies. The unknown burglar was captured on surveillance footage and police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
