Whitney Houston And Daughter Bobbi Kristina — The Greatest Love Of All [Photos, Video]

The death of Whitney Houston was a tragic event. The loss of a beautiful soul and melodic songbird was felt around the world, but it was the daughter of Whitney Houston who suffered the most. Bobbi Kristina lies in the hospital right now fighting for her life, the result of an event that is almost an exact replica of the way Whitney Houston died. With the third anniversary of Whitney’s death coming up in a few days, a highlight of the good times between Whitney and her daughter seems appropriate.

In March of 1993, Houston gave birth to daughter Bobbi Kristina. Immediately, a strong bond was formed, which evolved into a life-long close relationship. In an interview with Rolling Stone in June, 1993, Whitney spoke lovingly of her infant daughter.

“Having Bobbi Kristina… I could never do anything that could top that. There’s been nothing more incredible in my life than having her. God knows, I have been in front of millions and millions of people, and that has been incredible, to feel that give-take thing. But, man, when I gave birth to her and when they put her in my arms, I thought: ‘This has got to be it. This is the ultimate.’ I haven’t experienced anything greater.”

Through the years, Whitney Houston included her daughter in everything, bringing her on stage often. Witness one of Bobbi Kristina’s first performances below.

As Bobbi Kristina grew up, the bond with Whitney Houston only grew stronger. The love between Whitney and her own mother, Cissy Houston, was carried over to Bobbi Kristina. The ladies formed a trio of love with a strong connection that has lasted a lifetime. Although Whitney has passed from this life, Cissy Houston remains close to her granddaughter.

As you can see, Whitney Houston never tired of sharing the limelight with her precious daughter. In September of 2009, at a concert in Central Park, Whitney brought Bobbi Kristina before the audience. Together, they sang “My Love Is Your Love.” A fitting testament to the relationship between mother and daughter.

Last year, on her 20th birthday, the daughter of Whitney Houston took to Instagram to send a heartfelt message to her mom.

“I pray I’m growing into the phenomenal woman you always knew I’d become mommy, I love you and miss you immensely and I always will. You are my heart. You are my life. You are my everything. You are my motivation. You are me. I am you. We are one. Forever and always. I love you my lady.”

Bobbi Kristina’s heart is obviously broken at the loss of her mother, and three years later it doesn’t seem the pain has lessened. She is now fighting for her life after suffering an accident that so closely follows that of Whitney Houston. The family is praying, and asking for prayer from fans, that this lovely daughter born of Whitney Houston will pull through.
