Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead? Whitney Houston’s Daughter Is ‘Not Brain Dead’

Bobbi Kristina’s family have been surrounding her since she was hospitalized on Saturday after being found unconscious in the bathtub of her suburban Atlanta home. She’s reportedly “fighting for her life,” according to a statement released by her family. But a source says that Bobbi Kristina is “not brain dead.”

Bobbi Kristina is at Emory University Hospital. She’s been in a medically induced coma since Saturday at North Fulton Hospital. She was then moved to Emory University Hospital where she remained on life support. Nothing in her condition has changed, despite several reports that are saying that Bobbi Kristina is dying. Fox News reported that her situation is dire.

“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it. They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive.”

People magazine is also reporting a grim picture of Bobbi Kristina. A doctor allegedly told Brown’s family on Wednesday that nothing else can be done. A family member said, “Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye.”

The Daily Mail has reported that Brown has been taken off life support. Even a recent report on the Inquisitr says that Bobbi Kristina is expected to die within a few hours. According to several sources, there is no hope for her recovery.

Despite these conflicting reports, a source close the family told USA Today that Bobbi Kristina is “not brain dead.” The source also added that it’s wrong for the media report that the family is gathering around Bobbi Kristina to say goodbye, because the family has been there since she’s been admitted.

The source also spoke with E! News about Bobbi Kristina’s condition. The source further explained, “There is no ‘family gathering’ today that is different from any other day since she has been in the hospital.”

The source also slammed rumors saying the Houston family is feuding with Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown. The source told USA Today that the Houston family and Bobby Brown “are NOT fighting.”

The 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston remains on life support. As both the Houston and Brown families wait for an update on Bobbi Kristina’s condition, friends of their later mother have shared their well wishes with E! News at Kelly Price’s 2nd Annual For the Love of R&B event in Hollywood on Wednesday.

The friend who found Bobbi Kristina Brown faced down in a bathtub reportedly had nothing to do with the incident and wants to see her recover. Maxwell Lomas, 24, was a frequent house guest and friend of Brown, and found her unresponsive. His attorney told NBC News that “he’s very upset.” Lomas’ attorney, Philip Holloway added, “He wants nothing more than to see Bobbi Kristina open her eyes, wake up and make full and complete recovery.”
