Pregnant Kate Middleton Wins Top Royal Yummy Mummy: Visiting Hospices, She May Name Baby Girl Diana [Video]

Kate Middleton has achieved a place in Britain as the country’s number one favorite Royal Yummy Mummy. But that doesn’t mean she’s relaxing in her ruffled pink rocking chair reading romances. Instead, the Duchess of Cambridge has a quick-paced month planned despite the fact that she is very pregnant, reported Hello.

Devoted to charity work, Kate plans to visit a factory where earthenware products are produced. The company is crafting mugs for East Children’s Hospices (EACH). There, she will also meet volunteers and children from the Donna Louise Hospice.

That visit won’t be Kate’s first to an EACH hospice. When she visited the Norfolk location, she wept with emotion after greeting the ill children and their loving families.

In addition, Duchess Kate will visit an Action for Children’s facility. This charity focuses on neglected and vulnerable children and families in the United Kingdom. She’ll even participate in a play session with the little ones.

If you’re thinking that all work and no play makes Duchess Kate overly fatigued, she recently completed a luxurious vacation in the Caribbean with Prince William, baby Prince George, and her parents, as the Inquisitr reported.

Their “babymoon” was designed to celebrate the 60th birthday of sexy Grandma Carole, and at seven months pregnant, Kate was delighted to relax in the sand with little George and feel soothed by the sun.

Now it’s time for the countdown to giving birth, and a Palace insider told OK magazine that Duchess Catherine is having a baby girl.

“Kate and William found out they were expecting a girl during the 21-week scan,” said the source.

Now that word has spread that the royal parents are anticipating a baby girl, it’s time to think of baby names. Have they decided? Well, maybe, according to that inside source.

“[Kate and William] felt they needed to either go with something very traditional, like Elizabeth or Mary, or something that had a lot of meaning to them. So they’ve gone with the latter.”

And the name that they chose with the most meaning? Influenced by Prince William’s memories of his loving mother, he reportedly persuaded his wife to name their baby Diana, said the source.

“[William] never saw his mom as a royal figure – she was just his mom, and she adored him and his brother. He had such a happy childhood, and that was all due to her,” explained the insider.

In addition, Kate was moved by Diana’s legacy of charity work.

“They decided then and there that no matter what anyone said, they were sticking to naming their baby girl after her late grandmother.”

As to the due date? The Palace released the official royal news.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015,” announced Kensington Palace formally.
