Beyoncé and Jay Z Are Moving To Los Angeles For A Lifestyle Change
Looks like Beyoncé and Jay Z are making a huge change. The couple have decided to move from New York, which they’ve called home for years now, to sunny Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Beyoncé and Jay Z are making the move because they want a lifestyle change. This seems to be the right time to make a drastic change, because it won’t affect their toddler Blue. In fact, it sounds like the couple has it all figured out in terms of transitioning from New York to Los Angeles.
A source told TMZ that the couple are temporarily living in a hotel in Beverly Hills to give them enough time to find a cushy home. Currently, they’re looking at property in Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills, and Bel-Air. As for their daughter, Blue Ivy, she’s currently enrolled in a toddler program in an exclusive, elite private school.

The school is so elite that Beyoncé and Jay Z have to drop $15,080 a year for tuition. They lucked out that the private school took her in the middle of the school year, because according to a source, the program only accepts children at the beginning of the year. We’re guessing they made an exception for L.A. royalty.
As most know, Jay Z is a native New Yorker and hails from Brooklyn, while Beyonce grew up in Houston, Texas.
Although we don’t know for sure, TMZ is not convinced that the Carters will sell their NYC home. Instead, it looks like they’re going to be bi-coastal. Prior to deciding on making the big move, the pair rented out a home in Beverly Hills for $200,000 a month last summer.

Last we heard from the couple, they had put their plans to move to LA on hold. Back in January, according to TMZ, the couple were done with the west coast. They decided to stick in New York after a bidding war didn’t turn out the way they anticipated. The couple offered a little under $70 million for a Beverly Hills mansion, but didn’t snag it. That ordeal made the couple pause for their search, but it looks like they’re really trying to make a go of it now.
