WWE News: WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler To Turn Heel At WWE Fast Lane PPV?

In what can be seen as either a good or bad scenario, it is said that Dolph Ziggler will be facing Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 31. Many find it to be a good plan as it will allow the two to give us a match worthy of the fans who watch. WWE’s potential WrestleMania main event is speculated to be horrific due to the two men involved, so to potentially add a match that fans would love to see makes sense. The issue is, if this match goes down it could outshine all other matches on the card….including the main event.

There is a problem however in that neither man has an issue with the other. Today, you need that to sell a match. So the best possible thing that can be done is to force problem between them. According to Sports-Kings.com, there is an idea to turn Ziggler heel at WWE Fast Lane. Fast Lane is WWE’s newest February PPV that took the place of Elimination Chamber. Bryan will be facing Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns at the event. The winner of this match will go on to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.

We clearly know without even watching the match that WWE will have Reigns go over, because that is how they roll. However, they will be able to start something else through this match that fans will like. The idea is to turn Ziggler heel and have him involved in the No. 1 Contender’s match at the PPV. It is uncertain how he will be involved, but the plan is to have him cost Bryan the win in some way.

It could be “accidental” or something along those lines and both men end up having issues that result in a match, or Ziggler could end up coming in and taking out Bryan to help Reigns win.

This wouldn’t technically make Roman Reigns look strong, so the idea has merit but it also hurts Reigns. It says that he needs someone else to fight his battles for him and that he couldn’t win against Bryan without help. Yet he is the man who will beat Brock Lesnar?

WWE will need to figure out a way to make everything work. If WWE makes Reigns look weak, there could be an issue. He already suffered his first singles loss in his entire singles run this past week on WWE RAW to Big Show. He is already hurting a bit from that.

Fans are also not big on Reigns at this point, as he has been booed at every televised event. Is WWE doing this to help him overcome odds similar to how they do with John Cena? WWE clearly seems to be pushing the idea of Reigns being the new Cena, which could be one of the many reasons WWE fans aren’t sold on him.

We will have to wait and see what WWE decides when it comes to Dolph Ziggler and his place in the Fast Lane main event. While we could always see something crazy happen, chances are Ziggler will simply just cost Bryan the win with nothing of crazy note occurring.
