Jurassic World Park Cams Give Insight To Dinosaur Theme Park

Some people aren’t too keen on the idea of Jurassic World opening its doors again. With the recent Super Bowl TV spot, some are questioning whether humans would be dumb enough to continue experimenting with dinosaurs after the fallout of the first three Jurassic Park films. All feelings about that aside, a dinosaur theme park is a dream for millions of people around the world. The folks over at Universal know this, and while they can’t actually create a theme park, they are giving fans the next best thing: access to the “park cams” at the fictional Jurassic World theme park.

The Jurassic World park cams offer a fun and interesting insight as to what a theme park of this sort would be like. Some of the more interesting cams available are: The Isla Nublar Ferry, T. Rex Paddock, and Creation Lab. This section of the website is obviously all in service of the new Jurassic World film coming out this June, and it seems like it’s bound to have easter eggs tossed in by the handfuls.

If you make the rounds through the park cams, you’ll notice they clock in at about thirty seconds to a minute or so before they automatically switch to another location. For the most part, the goings on in these clips are pretty low-key, showing things like park-goers waiting in line, or enjoying a meal at the park steakhouse. After looking carefully, for several minutes, there was nothing of immediate interest that seemed to point to the Jurassic World flick, but it’s only a matter of time before someone finds something worth sharing.

Jurassic Park, first released in 1993, blew audiences away at the time, eliciting an unparalleled sense of wonder that has yet to be matched in any subsequent Jurassic Park film. With the theme park officially in full-scale operation in Jurassic World, perhaps this will take audiences one step closer to the idea that such a place can exist. While still just a thing of fiction, these cams give an extra feeling of tangibility that Jurassic Park fans are sure to enjoy.

So what do you think? Did the live park cams on the Jurassic World site get you excited for the film? Furthermore, are you one step closer to believing that we are living in a world where a dinosaur theme park is possible? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
