Heidi Montag’s Dad Bill Montag Charged With Sexual Assault, Life ‘In Ruins’ Following Arrest

Heidi Montag may or may not be surprised to know that her father has been accused of sexual assault. According to the New York Daily News, Montag’s dad, Bill, 67, was arrested in Colorado last week, and has been charged with three counts of “sexual assault on a child and aggravated incest.” Reports indicate that Bill Montag had an inappropriate, forceful relationship with a 13-year-old girl beginning in 1993 and lasting through 1998.

Evidently, Heidi and her family know the alleged victim well, and this woman has caused the family problems for many, many years. This woman is supposedly determined to do whatever it takes to “bring the family down.” Sources say the woman isn’t exactly “credible.”

Heidi Montag has not publicly responded to her father’s arrest. According to Mail Online, the family is having a very hard time with Bill’s arrest, and sources say that even if Bill is innocent, his life will be “in ruins.” Since being brought to Pitkin County Jail, Bill Montag has not had any visitors.

Family friend Melody Morris spoke to the media about what’s going on, but didn’t say very much about the allegations at all. Family, friends, and neighbors all seem to be in shock. They are doing their best to help out Bill’s wife, Terri, as the family goes through the legal process.

“They are a lovely couple and amazing neighbors so nobody would have seen this coming. We’re friends so I’m just concentrating on looking after the dogs. Terri sent me a message asking me to take care of things here, I haven’t asked her about the case because it’s so awkward. She hasn’t told me where she is or when she’ll be home – just that I’m in charge of making sure her dogs are fed and watered. She could be anywhere. It’s a difficult situation for me to be in but nobody knows how they’ll react until it happens to them. I’m just helping Terri,” said Melody.

Heidi Montag hasn’t been in the news too much since her outrageous plastic surgery a few years back. Her name does pop up from time to time, however, but she really has been living privately with her husband, Spencer Pratt. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Heidi and Spencer have been wanting to start a family. The two have supposedly been trying to start a family for several months. It’s unknown if the situation with Bill Montag will cause the couple to put their baby plans on hold.
