Earlier, a Mediatakeout.com story reported Brown was brain dead, but this was not confirmed by other news media.

Upon returning home on the morning of January 31, about 10:20 a.m., husband Nick Gordon and a friend discovered Bobbi Kristina. Gordon began administering CPR as the friend called 911.

Brown was unresponsive when found face down in the tub filled with enough water to bathe in. A police officer took over CPR administration until an ambulance arrived. Officer Lisa Holland, a spokeswoman for the Roswell police, said Brown was taken to the hospital.

“Her husband a friend located her in a bathtub this morning and she was unresponsive. He started CPR and a police officer took over lifesaving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers.”

Brown has struggled since the death of her mother, Whitney Houston. According to family, she was having a difficult time as the third anniversary of Whitney’s death was approaching on February 11.

Bobbi Kristina recently shared thoughts on her mother via social media.

Bobbi Kristina was found in a bathtub of water, an eerie similarity to mother Whitney, who accidentally drowned in a bathtub. Contributing causes to Houston’s death were cocaine and heart disease.

Holland further commented on the similarities of the incident concerning Bobbi Kristina and the death of her mother.

“Obviously the mother died in this very same manner, with her being found deceased in a tub and again, two years later, this is happening here. Obviously we wish this family well, and our thoughts and prayers are with this family.”

Although Krissy will be 22 on March 4, she has endured so much, including an unstable childhood with two drug-addicted parents. Houston divorced R&B singer Bobby Brown in 2007 after 14 years of marriage filled with drug abuse and domestic violence.

After the death of her mother, Bobbi Kristina’s challenges were evident on The Houstons: On Our Own, a reality TV show that showed the life of the Houston family after Whitney’s death. It was apparent that Krissy was then struggling with drinking too much and grieving the death of her mother.

The Houston family didn’t want Krissy to marry Gordon, then an on-and-off again boyfriend because they questioned the relationship. Prior to Whitney’s death, Krissy and Nick were like brother and sister, although they are not related. However, the relationship evolved into an intimate one. They married on January, 14, 2014.

Earlier this month, Lifetime released the biopic, Whitney, which focused on Houston’s drug use and the relationship between her and Bobby Brown. Houston’s sister-in-law and former manager released a statement slamming the film and said Houston’s family was not consulted.

Detectives don’t believe foul play was involved in the incident at Bobbi Kristina’s home and don’t know how long she was unconscious before she was found.

No drugs were found at the home during an investigation after Bobbi Kristina was taken to the hospital.
