Kendra Sunderland was arrested for filming an adult videos inside an Oregon State University library. The student has been charged with public lewdness after she filmed an X-rated video inside the school’s library. The infamous Kendra Sunderland video has gone viral and circulated around the campus. Now, the former webcam model is facing some serious legal trouble.
Sunderland, 19, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with a video shot inside the school’s Valley Library, according to the Smoking Gun.
The video was shot from Sunderland’s laptop. It also appears that she’s exchanging messages with an individual or a group of people watching her public exploits in real time. According to the Smoking Gun report, Sunderland’s public performance was part of a webcam show for ReptCams, an adult chat site. Nude photos and videos found online show the model – who uses an alias in her shows – engaged in adult acts, all of which appear to be in public places.
Sunderland attended Oregon State University, although she didn’t register for classes for this term. It’s unclear when Sunderland recorded the video. Sunderland is seen constantly looking around the library to make sure that no one notices what she’s doing.
The raunchy footage from the Kendra Sunderland video has shocked both students and faculty. An OSU student, Clifford Harris, told KEZI 9 News that everyone on campus has been talking about the video.
“It’s the buzz around campus. Everyone is talking about it. And I don’t think it was a very appropriate thing to do.”
Other students were confused as to how Sunderland filmed the video without other students noticing. There are usually security guards patrolling the OSU campus, but the library is huge, so it’s easy not to notice every student. OSU spokesman Steve Clark explained the massive size of the library.
“Imagine six floors; 340,000 square feet. It’s used by 30,000 people on average every week. The University does not condone this type of behavior. We want our students to feel safe. And we want to encourage anyone on campus — even the public — to contact police immediately if they see anything unusual on campus. Call 911 if it’s an emergency.”
The Statesman Journal has reported that Sunderland is no longer enrolled at OSU, although her dropping out is unrelated to the video. She was previously a student during the fall of 2014. According to Sunderland, she got into the school with her “good grades” and by taking “harder classes” in high school. Friends have described Sunderland as “kind of a party girl” who loves to “smoke as much [weed] as [she] can.”
Kendra Sunderland can face up to a year in prison and a fine of $6,000 or more if she’s found guilty. It’s not clear who leaked Sunderland’s video. The person who turned in the video was either fellow student Kaitlyn Yarnell, or a 24-year-old woman from Brasov, Romania. The Romanian user has uploaded several other videos taken on the same site.
