Brandi Glanville And Eddie Cibrian Update! Plus, The ‘RHOBH’ Star Wants Her Own Talk Show

Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian’s relationship was a hot topic on the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As always, Glanville openly discussed her issues with her ex-husband on the show, and even watched an episode of his and LeAnn Rimes’ reality show, LeAnn & Eddie.

In a January 28 interview with Gossip Girl, the reality star gave an update on her relationship with Cibrian, and spoke of her dreams of having her own Chelsea Handler-style talk show.

“We co-parent, we have two amazing little boys, and we get along. We have our issues. We have two different households, two different sets of rules, so we have to talk because of our kids. But what you’re seeing on Housewives right now was four months ago.”

Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian were married for nine years before they split, following Cibrian’s highly publicized affair with country star Rimes. Years later, Glanville began filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Cibrian and Rimes signed a deal with VH1 for their own show.

Although Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian have two children together, their relationship hasn’t been close since they parted ways, often feuding in the press and on their TV shows.

While Glanville has certainly done well with Bravo, her career goals far exceed reality television, and she recently began pursuing another career: hosting.

“I’m really enjoying the process. It’s nice to be able to speak your opinion, get your side of it out. I use it as a way to clear up a lot of stuff because I read things about me everyday. It’s really freeing and nice to interview other people, get them comfortable, and then go in for the kill! I’m really enjoying it and hoping it will turn into something more. My dream is to one day have my own talk show. That is something I would really love to do, a nighttime talk show like the Chelsea Handler show.”

Throughout her reality TV run, Glanville has dealt with her fair share of haters, and while its been a few years since she first gained fame, she admits it’s still not easy reading the negative criticism she sometimes receives.

“I don’t think you ever really get used to people having an opinion of you as a human being and your life, seeing you for 20 minutes a week and deciding if you’re this, that, or the other.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, LeAnn & Eddie was recently canceled after just one season.

PEOPLE Magazine confirmed the news earlier this month.
