Questions have been raised since the start of this seasons American Idol about the fairness of Joanna Pacitti competing.
Pacitti is already an acomplished singer, having released an album, and even appearing in sound track albums to big name movies. Unfair competition you’d think in a show that’s suppose to find a new American Idol from the unwashed and unsigned masses.
We’ll it appears that the presure got the best of the show’s producers, after it was revealed that Pacitti has a private relationship with executives of 19 Management, one of the companies that produce American Idol.
Replacing Pacitti is Felicia Barton, who was already thrown out in the show that led to the final 36.
There’s suprisingly little information available online about Felicia Barton, but we do know she hails from Virginia Beach, where she liked to sing on the street.

Felicia is amazing. If you Youtube her you'll find lots of videos of her signing. She hasn't gotten any airtime on AI but she did get a standing ovation during Holleywood week (Top 75 night). She really is am amazing singer and she write lots of her own songs too. Please check her out and give her a chance- she WILL suprise you and blow you away!

Felicia Barton has a great voice.. It's okay if she will replace Pacitti.. If you think she is not that good, it is better to give her a chance to improve herself.. That's what the show is all about.. Pacitti should give chance to those singers who never had the opportunity to be recognized as talented.. Congratulations to Felicia Barton..

the judges seemed to be keen on keeping Pacitti around, so why not keep her on the show? the show seems to thrive on scandal anyway…

I haven’t liked it since Kelly Clarkston – she was the true American Idol and lots of people agree with me (just read some reviews of her music on EverHype, or add some of your own at http://www.everhype.com/?utm_source=bc). Isn’t drama what American Idol is all about?
