Ramona Singer On ‘RHONY’ Season 7, Bethenny Frankel’s Return

Ramona Singer and her Real Housewives of New York City co-stars have been filming the series’ seventh season for the last few months, and according to Singer, things have been going well.

“I think the chemistry has really evolved,” Singer told OK! Magazine on January 27 of the Season 7 cast.

“There are actually some true friendships here and we have some true heartaches.”

After Season 6 of The Real Housewives of New York City, Bravo let go of Aviva Drescher, who starred on the show for two seasons, and brought back Bethenny Frankel, who appeared on the show for the series’ first three seasons before landing her own reality show, Bethenny Getting Married.

“She and I had a great relationship prior to the show, but our relationship has gotten even better! I’m really happy she’s on.”

According to a completely separate publication, producers have also brought Dorinda Medley to the series for Season 7. And as the Inquisitr reported, rumor has it she and Ramona Singer don’t get along.

“Ramona is drawing a line in the sand, and demanding that Dorinda not be made a full-time housewife,” a show source revealed to Radar Online last month.

“It’s bad enough for Ramona that Dorinda at this point will have a recurring role. The ladies had been close friends before Dorinda joined the show, but now Ramona is completely freezing her out.”

The source claimed Singer was the one who suggested Medley to producers, but after seeing the response to Medley’s persona, Singer grew worried she could be replaced.

After Season 6, rumors swirled regarding Singer’s demotion from official housewife to friend of the housewives, and although Bravo never confirmed the news, Singer has reportedly been filming much less than normal. Meanwhile, Medley was said to be getting plenty of camera time.

“Ramona is insanely jealous of Dorinda because of her wealth and social status in New York society. Out of her mind with craziness, Ramona has even told Bravo to cut Dorinda out of the upcoming season!”

In addition to her role on Bravo, as reported by OK! Magazine, Ramona Singer recently became a partner at Tribeca’s AOA restaurant.

“It’s a sports bar that’s kind of upscale. It’s a really great atmosphere. It’s a great place as a woman going out with your women friends to mingle and chat and network.”

Ramona Singer and the cast return for The Real Housewives of New York City Season 7 later this year.
