Lindsay Lohan In Trouble With The IRS

Lindsay Lohan may be back in the courts once again, that is if she doesn’t quickly settle her outstanding tax bill which the IRS says stands at $93,000.

The federal government this week revealed that Lohan never paid her 2009 income taxes which in turn led to penalties and a request for the immediate payment of her back taxes.

Serious about collecting their money the Internal Revenue Service this week filed a lien in Los Angeles against the actress, asking for exactly $93,701.57.

If that tax bill seems low it’s likely because 2009 was a wash out of a year for Lohan who released just a single made-for-TV movie along with several minor roles for other TV programs.

Should Lohan refuse to pay the nearly $100,000 she owes the IRS has the right to go after her property including her house, cars, bank accounts and anything else they feel like stealing.

Lindsay Lohan isn’t commenting on the IRS tax issue at this time but It’s probably safe to say that in 2009 given her low income levels and mounting legal fees that she probably didn’t have the money to pay those taxes.

Do you think Lindsay Lohan is going to agree to pay the taxes immediately or will she once again unsuccessfully try to play the victim?
