K.D. Lang Splitting From Domestic Partner After Nearly A Decade

K.D. Lang, 50 and her girlfriend of nearly nine years Jamie Price are calling it quits on their domestic partnership.

It was Lang who headed into a California court several weeks ago to file the papers that would dissolve their partnership.

Using the famous “irreconcilable differences” Lang filed the papers on December 28 but kept with entire ordeal under wraps with no current plans to speak further about the end of her relationship.

Under their domestic partnership the couple shared community property rights and spousal support. The filing also allowed them to make health care decisions for one another. In the event of jail time their non-offending partner would also have been able to visit.

K.D. Lang and Jamie Price met through a mutual Buddhist teacher.

It’s not to often we need to report on Lesbian couples calling it quits, it will be interesting to see what comes to light as the process progresses.
