Logitech Introduces Keyboard for Wii for Easier Web Experience

Who said that the Nintendo Wii is only for gaming? In the midst of playing, I usually sneak some minutes to check the web for breaking news to cover through the Wii’s Internet channel. The only drawback is that it is hard typing URLs using the Wii remote.

So, I welcome Logitech’s announcement introducing its new Cordless Keyboard for Wii. It has a slim design and 2.4 GHz wireless technology for natural typing experience. It also provides system keys such as Zoom In/Out, Forward/Back, Quit, and OK. Setting up is easy. Just plug the mini-receiver into the console and the keyboard is ready to use. This may not be the first keyboard for the Wii but this seems to be the most comfortable looking.

It will be available this August for $49.99, something that I am willing to shell out just to make browsing the web through the Wii more comfortable. Besides, it’s good having an additional machine to use for work at home, while playing. I can even blog straight from the Wii.
