WWE News: Who Will Daniel Bryan Face At WrestleMania 31? Fellow Fan-Favorite Challenges Bryan On Twitter

There were a lot of WWE fans who were shocked and disappointed when Daniel Bryan was eliminated from this past Sunday’s Royal Rumble match, as nearly every fan in the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday wanted to see Bryan win the Rumble match and go on to reclaim the championship – which he never lost – by defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31, Unfortunately, as of right now that is not going to happen.

Daniel Bryan is now in need of an opponent for WrestleMania, and many people have talked about Sheamus being the man to wrestle Bryan at Mania. While that match is entirely possible, another WWE fan favorite — Dolph Ziggler — has challenged Bryan via Twitter, saying that he and Bryan would definitely steal the show at WWE’s biggest event of the year. Bryan responded, saying that he’s interested.

Of course if Bryan and Ziggler were to face off at this year’s WrestleMania, one of them would need to turn heel. Presumably the one of the two that would make the turn would be Ziggler, however it is possible that WWE could have them wrestle each other while they’re both babyfaces.

As previously mentioned, there have been rumblings that Daniel Bryan will take on Sheamus at this year’s WrestleMania. If you remember, Bryan vs. Sheamus was the match that WWE wanted to take place at last year’s WrestleMania before they changed their plans. So, with that in mind, WWE could make the match that they were unable to make last year and have Bryan take on Sheamus, who would be entering the match as a heel.

There are some WWE fans who think that WWE will add Bryan to the WresleMania main-event like they did last year. However, it’s been reported that Vince McMahon doesn’t want to copy what he did last year, as he believes that if he puts Bryan in the main-event, he’ll have “gone to the well one too many times.”

There’s a possibility that Bryan will be taking on Rusev at this year’s WrestleMania, as they went face-to-face on WWE’s Tribute to the Troops show before Bryan officially returned to action. It appears that Rusev will looking for an opponent come WrestleMania time, as WWE is having Rusev take on John Cena at the February pay-per-view Fast Lane.

As of right now, there are three possible opponents for Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania— Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, and Rusev. There’s a small chance that Bryan could be added to the WWE championship main-event, but at this time, that seems a bit far-fetched.
