Miss USA Nia Sanchez Ripped For Lousy Response During Miss Universe Q&A [Video]

Miss USA, Nia Sanchez, caused a major uproar after the Q&A portion of Sunday night’s Miss Universe pageant. According to Hollywood Life, a lot of people didn’t find Nia’s answer to a question about terrorists satisfying. In fact, many thought that her answer was completely lacking. The 24-year-old Nevada native was asked what message she would like to send to the “global terrorist.” Instead of giving something with substance, Nia responded with a sort of canned response that many thought was totally lame.

“I know as Miss USA I can always spread a message of hope and love and peace, and I would do my very best to spread that message to them and everyone else in the world,” Nia said.

Nia Sanchez was then ripped on social media.

According to News Australia, people were really upset about Nia’s answer (check it out at 3:20 in the video below), and were hoping for something with a little more bite. Of course, it is hard to gather your thoughts, and come up with something truly excellent in 30 seconds, but many had hopes that Nia would take charge of the question, and give a strong answer.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Miss Columbia was crowned Miss Universe 2015. And that was controversial as well. Many people felt as though Miss Jamaica should have won. Sanchez was the first runner up. Many feel as though Nia’s answer in the Q&A really cost her the coveted title, and that if she had something less cliche, she may have been crowned the winner. And people are still talking about the disappointment today.

Do you think that Nia Sanchez’s Q&A answer was good? What would have you liked to hear her say?
