Michelle Obama Meets iCarly [Video]

Michelle Obama is heading to Nickelodeon. The First Lady will be making a cameo on an upcoming of episode of iCarly called “iMeet the First Lady.”

MSNBC reports that Michelle Obama will be playing herself in the episode. Obama said:

“My daughters are big fans, and I am too.”

Miranda Cosgrove, who plays Carly Shay, said:

“I’ve been doing the show for a long time and I usually don’t get nervous, but having the first lady on the set, I was really nervous.”

The episode centers around Carly Shay dealing with the fact that her Air Force colonel father won’t be returning home from active duty. Carly schedules a webcast reunion with her father and apparently the first lady stops by to show her support.

Michelle Obama’s episode of iCarly will air on January 16th on Nickelodeon at 7:30.
