Alix Catherine Tichelman, Forrest Hayes Santa Cruz Yacht Death To Air On CBS’ 48 Hours

Alix Catherine Tichelman, the sexy and exotic prostitute who left Google executive Forrest Timothy Hayes dead from a heroin overdose on his yacht almost two years ago, will have her case examined tonight on an episode of 48 Hours. CBS will investigate the tragic and shocking Santa Cruz case tonight at 9 p.m. central, according to the Santa Cruz-Sentinel.

The Alix Catherine Tichelman black widow case made headlines in 2013, after Forrest Hayes, a married father with children, was found dead aboard his yacht in Santa Cruz.

Law enforcement authorities became aware of the case in November 2013, after Hayes’ wife contacted the ship’s captain when her husband did not return home that fateful night. According to the police, once the captain went to check on Hayes, they found him unresponsive and contacted police.

After police arrived aboard the lavish yacht, they found the body of a white male. An examination of the body revealed that the man, identified as Forrest Timothy Hayes, had died from a fatal injection of heroin. They didn’t find the drugs, but they did find a glass of wine.

As detectives looked around to make sense of the scene, they realized that someone had been aboard the yacht with him. But who? Police were able to find the answer to that question after a video surveillance system was discovered on the boat showing a dark-haired beauty on board with him.

The video showed the woman, identified as Alix Catherine Tichelman, frantically gathering her things, stepping over the body, and taking one last sip of wine as she fled the scene — leaving the Google exec dead. The investigation eventually led to her arrest.

Forrest Hayes’ fatal encounter with Tichelman has left his family and friends with more questions than answers. Many wonder why he had chosen to live a double life that eventually led to his tragic death. Some friends tell 48 Hours’ Maureen Maher that Forrest liked the exotic, wild side of life and that his boat provided him with the opportunity to play with that side.

Hayes had met Tichelman on a dating website. Once he saw the exotic, tattooed woman, he knew that he wanted to have sex with her. He had no way of knowing that the wild-eyed beauty had a dark past and that she would eventually be the death of him.

Here’s a troubling detail. In July of 2014, Inquisitr reported that Alix Catherine Tichelman had told people that she would often fantasize about killing people.

The 48 Hours episode “Kiss of Death and the Google Exec” will discuss Tichelman’s troubled life as a child in Georgia, her connection to several other mysterious deaths, and how the police finally found her after she left the state. The documentary series will also examine whether Alix Tichelman was just in the wrong place at the wrong time or if she is a cold-blooded killer.
