Jay-Z and Beyonce Show Complete Disrespect For Others, Stop Father From Seeing Preemie Twins
Jay-Z and Beyonce want to give their newborn baby the best life possible, even when that means locking down a hospital wing and preventing a father from seeing his two premature twin daughters.
A disgruntled dad recently revealed that the couple rented out an entire wing at Lenox Hill Hospital for $1.3 million while their security detail locked out parents from visiting their newborn children.
Brooklyn resident Neil Coulon, 38 says his wife was stressed after delivering preemie twins and when he went to check on them he was told by Beyonce’s bodyguards that he couldn’t visit his daughters. Coulon told the Chicago Sun-Times:
“Three times they stopped me from entering or exiting the NICU (Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit) and it happened once on Friday — just because they wanted to use the hallway.”
“They should have been more strategic about it,” he continued. “These are children with problems in intensive care and you’re just going to take over the hospital like you own it? All I want is an apology.”
In the meantime Jay-Z was having a party in the rented out wing of the hospital for little baby girl Blue Ivy, reportedly bringing in bottles of champagne for friends and family to enjoy.
The story was confirmed by a hospital staffer who revealed:
“Some people were upset … I heard a gentleman say he couldn’t go upstairs to see his baby [Saturday].
That staffer adds:
“People are really upset and complaining,” while noting that medical staff must “shut down” whenever Beyonce moves about.
$1.3 million isn’t a bad payday for the hospital, that is until parents with children in the NICU start filing lawsuits.
Would you hesitate to sue the money hungry Lenox Hill Hospital for their stupidity?
Hopefully Jay-Z and Beyonce don’t end up raising an entitled little brat that matches their parents own disrespect for other people. Then again who am I kidding, the kids already headed in that direction.

Jan 9, 2012
I would have gone crazy on them, they would have to call the police. How rude!
Jan 9, 2012
That's wrong
Jan 9, 2012
If people didn't follow them around like they're Royals they wouldn't have to do that, sounds like the author of this piece needs to stop being so petty.
Jan 9, 2012
This is the fault of the hospital.
Jan 9, 2012
My youngest was in NICU. Tell you what, if that were me and they were trying to stop me from seeing MY child? Bodyguards would be looking for body parts and JayZ and B would be looking for new careers. Hospital wouldn't be left standing after lawyer got ahold of them. NOTHING comes between a mom and her child, let alone a sick newborn.
Jan 9, 2012
I would definately file a lawsuit not just against the hospital but Beyonce and JayZ as well they definately will not make good parents they surely already have a nanny for the poor kid while they continue with the limelight.
Jan 9, 2012
Well said!
Jan 9, 2012
Totally inappropriate for the hospital to comply with this. They act like no one else in the hospital wing matters. Totally uncalled for for them to do what they were allowed to do, just because they have money and fame.
Jan 9, 2012
I don't blame the hospital..that amount of money being offered most likely blinded them to any other consequences. I understand not wanting the media getting to your baby as well, but you know, if you have that much money to spend, and youre that worried about it,…why not have the baby at home and pay to bring in all the medical services you need there? Instead of possibly losing half of your fans to stupid inconsiderate decisions. What if any of those premie babies died during your little celebration….-.- SMH.
Jan 9, 2012
Inconsiderate, spoiled and with an over inflated sense of self worth. Beyonce, Jay Z and the hospital should be ashamed of themselves. How would they have felt if some obnoxious couple with inflated egos prevented them from getting to their children?
Jan 9, 2012
That is beyond rude…. Heads would roll if that were me! What pigs they are!
Jan 9, 2012
I would file a lawsuit! They should have come up with a better plan for keeping the general public out, not those who have sick babies in the nicu!
Jan 9, 2012
Stop bein petty if the selfish wench was so concerned she should of spent the money and had her porn star named brat @ home! That baby is doomed the name sounds like it belongs 2 a porn star or stripper lmao, dumbasses!
Jan 9, 2012
O HELLLLL NO! THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL ANYBODY WOULD COME BETWEEN ME AND MY BABIES OR MY HUBBY AND HIS BABIES.
Jan 9, 2012
It is the hospital's fault, but Beyonce and her Jay'Z should be more respectful of other new parents. The security team did not indeed plan this correct. I know celebrities need their privacy from journalists but this is going to far. Have your security team verify the new fathers and let that bond with their new babies. The babies are the ones being hurt by this STUPID display of disrespect.
Jan 9, 2012
If they were that concerned about privacy, they should've used the money to set up a birthing suite in their home!
Jan 9, 2012
I find this hard to believe that a hospital and medical staffers will allow ANYONE to take control of their hospital and prevent parents from seeing their children in NICU.
Jan 9, 2012
They couldn't have waited a few days to have a party until their kid was out of the hospital? Come on its a public place its meant for parents to be able to see their newborns who are sick. Well Jay Z and Beyonce' lost a fan. Wish I would of been there cause I would of said something and made a huge war over it! Parents have a right to see their children!
Jan 9, 2012
And yet, if they didn't enjoy being followed and stuff, they wouldn't be famous now would they?
Just because you can afford to have the hospital shut down so you can have your kid, doesn't mean you should. I agree with the parents who were prevented from seeing their newborns. Suing both Jay-Z and B as well as the hospital will show that they aren't as special as they seem to think.
Jan 9, 2012
Jay & Beyonce I can understand this is your first child but you should have had more respect for the other parents as well. If you needed that much privacy, you should have had it at home, a private hospital that caters to the rich & famous or basically close off your room. The security team were probably your following orders. This hospital should know better…no one and I mean no one should be beyond the rules to bend. Respect all parents of newborns, their babies are just as precious. This poor man's children were in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I would had the police and MSNBC, Entertainment Tonight, TMZ, LAWYERS, etc. Everyone involved would have felt this one. Imagine the precious minutes the other parents are losing with their babies because one couple felt their baby is the only one that's priceless. This is the first time ever I heard a city hospital can be rented out this way (digusting). Money doesn't count for everything. Jay & Beyonce….the respect went going downhill.
Jan 9, 2012
I really hope they sue the hospital. Maybe it will wake these idiots up!
Jan 9, 2012
I am guessing you don't have children??? I feel the point was that if the hospital is going to "shut down" an entire wing to one couple then there should not be any other patience on that wing… as someone said earlier, what if one of those parents PREVENTED from seeing THEIR baby's in intensive care had died? Sounded to me that Jay-Z and Beyonce need to deflate their ego's just a bit. Just my opinion…
Jan 9, 2012
TOTALLY AGREE!!! Now THAT, was well said!!!
Jan 9, 2012
That was so wrong,I hope they sue as well!
Jan 9, 2012
I'm sorry BUT YOU MUST NOT HAVE CHILDREN !!!!!!!!!! I agree with Krystalyn!! With all that money, they should have had an at home birth delivery !!!!!!!! These aren't just any newborns. They are intensive care…. There is no excuse for Beyonce and Jay-Z to have pulled this little stunt… AND if they wanted to have a hospital delivery, they could've rented out an adjacent room to Beyonce's and kept the bodyguards outside both rooms !!!!!!!!! Ow i'm sorry.. They're partying could have possible disturbed their baby !!! It's called a baby shower… I'm pretty sure they had one. The hospital isn't for partying… Especially at the expense of these poor little sick babies parents.. SMH Malcolm, Monique and ANYONE THAT AGREE'S WITH YOU GUYS needs a reality check !!!!!!!!!!
Jan 9, 2012
I'm in Agreement with Tawnya Heald. I would sue both the hospital and J&B with that much money why couldn't they rent the neccessary equipment and hire enough dr's and nurses to do all of this at home. It's lawsuit time. The hospital is not really going to make a profit after they have to handle all of the various lawsuits.
Jan 9, 2012
I would have been LIVID! If you have more money than God, why would you not rent a suite at a private birthing center. Better yet, have one built in your home and have your medical staff THERE. I was not a very big fan of either of them, this just ensures that I never will be! Disgusted in them and the hospital has some explaining to do!
Jan 9, 2012
somehow this wouldn't surprise me about these 2. I wouldve been threatening charges of kidnapping my child for not letting me have access to him. Fk that- these 2 wanted a private wing- they shouldve just hired a dr and nursing staff to come to their HOUSE!
Jan 9, 2012
I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED BY THIS STORY…. U KNOW JAY MADE A SONG CALLED H.A.M…. HE WOULD HAVE LEARNED THE TRUE MEANING OF GOIN HAM IF THAT WERE ME OR ANYONE IN MY FAMILY! BUT AS THE OLD SAYING GOES… "GOD DOn't LIKE UGLY! #thatisall
Jan 9, 2012
The hospital AND The parents (Beyonce & Jay-Z) are at fault. Money can't buy everything, but they seem to think it can. SAD!!
Jan 9, 2012
I can relate to this mans story. I have a son that was in the nicu unit for almost 9months. they were wrong in stoping him from seeing his babies. Jay-Z and Beyonce should be thankful that their baby didn't have to be in there. just because they have the money and means to have the best for their child, some people don't. and its the ones who don't that make jay-z & beyonce THEIR money. the parents of the babies SHOULD sue the hospital and jay-z & beyonce. I for one will no longer listen to any of their music. maybe if their fans stop buying and listening to their music they will open their eyes and be more thankful.
Jan 9, 2012
they will have to call the whole army cuz I'm going in if my child is in there , and for beyonce and jay z I'm afraid your baby is not made of gold! what you guys did is despicable!
Jan 9, 2012
Honestly with all that money they could've had a private delivery with a private doctor. Smh damn J&B its not that serious
Jan 9, 2012
Hence the reason they should have done it in the privacy of their own home.. Im sure the royals have a plan in place that doesnt affect everyone else around them whenever they have a baby or any other issue, and these people should have done the same.. They had no right to keep other people away from their own children, especially children in intensive care.. God forbid if any of them had died during all of this..
Jan 9, 2012
Here we go, attack of the broke, stay at home moms… Already making assumptions and pointing their fingers at people for living their lives or having dissenting views… The opinions of the 3rd night shift leader of a Pick & Save and a Waitress at IHOP, how quaint.
But, if I told them their opinions are worth as much as their paychecks I'd be the bad guy.
This time I won't forget to forget to click" unfollow".
Jan 9, 2012
I would be suing the hospital, jay and b. When my daughter was in the NICU I was their 24 hours for 5 days until she passed away. So how dare you keep those parents away from their kids!
Jan 9, 2012
With all that money, they could've had her birth at home or a private clinic. I use to like both of them but all this fame and money have really changed them; especially her.
Jan 9, 2012
They have no respect for anyone. It makes me sick how they think their more important then other people.I would sue the hospital, and them.
Jan 9, 2012
Oh hell no! As a mom of twins I can tell you right now there's not a bodyguard, cop, or anyone else that would keep me from my babies! Beyonce and Jay Z should have had a home birth if they were that concerned. I truly hope every single one of those parents sues the way over-paid celebrity's.
Jan 9, 2012
Well my notifications said that you replied to my post but i dont see it on here so i dont know what you said..
Jan 9, 2012
Yes, I would have gone crazy….if possible demanded my babies be transferred to another hospital, called police, mayor and everybody else possible. What crock of crap.
Jan 9, 2012
Just saying a prayer for the Father and Mother with the Twin Preemies. Hope all goes well.
Jan 9, 2012
shame on these two. There is no way on God's green earth that some self-absorbed celebrity would keep me away from seeing my newborn child, especially if that child was in the NICU. Beyonce and JayZ should pay for the medical expenses of every newborn in that facility as a gift to those parents who they treated so callously.
Jan 9, 2012
as a nurse who worked in a major hospital in NYC, where celebrities had their babies, I am SHOCKED that Lenox Hill caved in to these two, at the expense of other patients and their families.SHAME ON YOU, LENOX. I used to think you were a good hospital;not any more…
Jan 9, 2012
You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! They should the other parents medical expenses!!That is the BEST solution I have read!!
Jan 9, 2012
My sentiment exactly.
Jan 9, 2012
It doesn't really surprise me. Beyonce and JayZ seem to think that they are the "royal couple" and that we underlings need to bow to their wants and needs. It is rude of them, and negligent of the hospital to have allowed that. If they wanted a private suite, they should have booked a private suite at a hotel and hired a nurse or two. I'm sure that could have afforded the staff of bodyguards to help move them. Hell, I went home after 24 hours after having my child.
Jan 9, 2012
My twin daughters where born 8 weeks early and there is no way in HELL that someone would stop me from seeing my daughters in the NICU. What they did was just wrong in so many ways, just because they are rich they can do whatever they want. I would have a law suit against them! Have some consideration for other parents!
Jan 9, 2012
Absolutely unforgivable, even Cedar SinaiHospital in Beverly Hills/Hollywood doesn’t “cave” to the celebrities. Beyonce and Jay-Z should be ashamed of themselves.
Jan 9, 2012
I hope they get sued BIG TIME! That will show the Hospital and Staff how important $$$$$$$$$$$$ really is! As for Beyonce and Jay- Z, I will never listen to any of their music again! RUDE!
Jan 9, 2012
I wonder if the bodyguard was acting at his own discretion, or under the direct order of Jay or Beyonce. If I were in their position, I would pay any amount of money to assure that my privacy and my child's medical care were not compromised. This was not planned well by the hospital, and the hospital deserves to pay punitive damages to the parents who were deined visitation. If Jay or Beyonce knew and kept others from seeing their children, they should pay as well. Had my visitation been denied due to non-medical issues, I would have pressed charges for kidnapping.
Jan 9, 2012
I cant help but wonder if those babies were even given proper care. After all Beyonce n Jay Z were having their babx forget everything else all bow down before them! NOT! That was probably the fathers biggest concern. I say sue!
Jan 9, 2012
Selfish selfcentered no talent hacks……
Jan 9, 2012
Money can't buy class..just look at these two..perfect example.
Jan 9, 2012
They need to Apologies, not only to that one parent but to the whole world!
Jan 9, 2012
Like people should have to put that stupid fat assed bitch's privacy above their love and concern for their own newborns – what a douche.
Jan 9, 2012
SUE THE FUCKER!
Jan 9, 2012
I don't care how famous u r u should not b able to do that at a hospital. I could understand them having their people not let in news and media people. That I get but parents of babies in the hospital that is wrong and as some have said they would be calling the police on me cause I would beat the crap out of the bodyguards and then would find Jay-z and beat the crap out of him and then would never buy listen or watch anything with them in it ever again. I would not beat her for the sake of the baby and that would b the only reason. I hope some of my other fave stars never act like this.
Jan 9, 2012
What in God's name is wrong with these people? These are very, very sick children who need the love of their parents to be able to survive. Shame on you, Beyonce, and shame on you, Jay-Z (I never liked him much in the first place). You've lost a ton of respect because of this, and a fan. After reading this, I refuse to listen to any more of Beyonce's music.
Jan 9, 2012
Spencer was in the NICU for five days after he was born. Had that happened to me, I'd probably gone to jail for assault. I'd have beat the tar outta him with a chair or something.
Jan 9, 2012
why with all their money and big fancy house, could they not have this baby delivered at home? leave the public hospital open to the public for crying out loud! the two of them just topped the list of the most self-centered, greedy people in my book! will no longer support anything they do.
Jan 9, 2012
This is not Jay and Beyonce's fault…they are superstars of course their thinking man be a little selfish and inconsiderate at times. This is clearly the hospital being money hungry and thinking about the $$ instead of the well being of their patients. I understand the parents being upset but the blame should be put on the correct people the guards were only doing what they get paid to do. It is the hospital board's duty to ensure their decisions regarding patients are ethically and morally made. I would aid them in a minute. And of course the child is going to be a brat…both her parents are icons! Wouldn't u be?
Jan 9, 2012
I agree that it's the hospitals fault but automatically assuming that the child will be a brat because of who her parents are isn't fair. Who says that they can't raise a well rounded, grounded child? I know plenty of average people who's children are brats. A child being a brat is less about who the parents are and more about how the child is being parented.
Jan 9, 2012
I have a serious problem with the whole thing. First, congrats on the baby, Mrs. Carter. HOWEVER; NO AMOUNT OF MONEY SHOULD GIVE anyone THE RIGHT TO DENY another the joy of seeing their newborn, especially one in a NICU…and premi twins at that? Greatfully, nothing happened to any newbie during the times visits were denied BUT what if something did? What if a baby's health went 'south' (went very bad or died)? The parent's last potential visit would not have been because of Crass people with money. Evidently, nothing was thought out when the 'special delivery' came such as an alternate route for 'regular parents' to still be able to see their own babies. Or having a room next or close to the c-section room that would not interrupt the normal flow for the 'common people'. Yes, I feel BOTH the Carter's and the hospital are at fault. So there was a substantial donation (or not) made to the Hospital. That is nice. BUT, celebrety deliveries at that hospital are NOT an every day thing. Regular people with regular problems and births are. Afterwards, everything goes back to normal. BUT the precious seconds / moments lost by the other parents will NEVER be re-captured. This is one case where the need of the few should NEVER HAVE OUTWEIGHTED the needs of the many. This should be a 'wake-up' notice to future situations like this (THEY WILL HAPPEN)—-so you have money, USE IT WISELY. Have a plan and consider the other people NOT IN YOUR WORLD.
Jan 9, 2012
I meant brat only as in getting what they want…my baby is the sweetest child in the world…but when.it comes to.what she wants she feels she is entitled to it because she doesn't know what "no" really sounds like. But she apeaks to everyone that speaks to her, says thank you and no thanks you, please…etc. I guess it depends on what ur definition of a "brat" is…
Jan 9, 2012
Sorry Jay Z and Beyonce are in the end only people too. They nor does their baby deserve special treatment. So shame on them for being this way.
Jan 9, 2012
U r so right. And I wouldn't want the public breathing on my child either.
Jan 9, 2012
I hope that this isn't true. That is awful, these parents will only experience this one time of their life with the child being born. And what if a complication occurred and baby/mother had to be rushed to surgery and one of them didn't make it and the father couldn't even be there with his family because Beyonce' or whoever who's by the way Poo stinks just like everybody else wanted to walk down the hall.
I hope this is an eye opening experience for most.
There are other options, for 1 million dollars they could have a hospital bedside wing in the privacy of their own home so as not to disturb other people in a PUBLIC hospital. That is just simply stupidity.
If it is true, I hope the hospital as well as the celebrity couple gets the pants sued off 'em. Ridiculous
Jan 9, 2012
Oh yeah, u bad…u bad…they would have restrained you with a pinkie.
Jan 9, 2012
As an RN this really makes me so mad…..HOW DARE THEY DO THIS TO OTHERS… MY remedy..hospital should wipe out all medical bills for these parents who have newborn babies there.
Jan 9, 2012
Who are they to say that their privacy is more important than other peoples children? Shame on them for acting this way and shame on the hospital for allowing this to happen!
Jan 9, 2012
they have a case..the guys kid was born prematurely could have died… and bodygaurds wont let him in..there lucky noone shot the place up.
Jan 9, 2012
Dennis McIntosh what would you do?
Jan 9, 2012
Not to play advocate and on some points many of you are right. Yes, she could've had the baby at baby at home, bringing her doctor and all necessary equipment, but she did have a C-Section so what if something went wrong? She'd need to have access to whatever could possibly save her and her baby's life. Yes, it is beyond ridiculous to shut down the entire wing BUT you have to look at it as Beyonce is no ordinary person. Yes, she is a celebrity but she's also a commodity, business wise. And then there's not only the paparazzi, but both her and Jay-Z have some crazy and obsessed fans, let's not even start on the stalkers. Of course, we've all heard of baby's being kidnapped…well times that times 10! Also don't be so quick to fault the celebrity. Yes the hospital could've handled the process differently, but remember that celebrities have a whole slew of people, entourage, A-Team that handle their lives. What if someone had gained access and went crazy just to get to the newborn? Many people plus the other newborns could have been hurt.
Also, it's not like the other babies weren't getting the care they needed! Come on now, not every doctor or nurse just stopped to cater to her. As far as protection, I'm sure it was all done to ensure the safety of everyone. Lastly, I think some are just attacking the family because she IS Beyonce and Blue Ivy is the "Baby of the Year" (not my quote). You may not hear about it as much but many a celebrity have shut down parts of hospitals before. I mean it's unfortunate that the whole situation happened and I do hope that the Carter family extends an apology but it's over and done…so get over it. Just my opinion.
Jan 9, 2012
if they wanted to keep the birth of their child private, then Beyonce & JayZ should have either had the baby in the privancy of their own home or rented a hall. A hospital is a public place and under no circumstance should people not be able to visit their babies in a NICU ward or move about just because someone famous is there. That is just outrageous and I hope the hospital is sued for more than what these inconsiderate people paid. Shame on Beyonce & JayZ for thinking their birth requires any more hospital attention than anyone else just because they have the money to be that arrogant. This is just outrageous and totally inexcusable.
Jan 9, 2012
Jay & Beyonce….If all of this was a rumor as reported then I apologize for my outburst. But my heart broke for the parents.
Jan 9, 2012
My older sister was born in a New York hospital and my mom was in right next door to Tony Bennett's wife and child (he was really big then) and he and his wife were just like everyone else, kind, and considerate. What has happened?
Jan 10, 2012
Unbelievable.
Jan 10, 2012
I hope the hospital gets sued!
Jan 10, 2012
Thats life..
Jan 10, 2012
That is STUPID – If they wanted that Crap – Deliver at home and have the team of pro's come to them ! Give me a break WhO the Heck are they – NO Bodies !
Jan 10, 2012
Do they think their Poop doesnt stink ? PLEASE !!
Jan 10, 2012
I agree with Dennis, Tawnya talking tough…
Jan 10, 2012
if this is true than it is the fault of the hospital, if people were paying that much for privacy then the hospital could have planned better for the regular folks whose children were in their care. Its easy to blame the rich people ( and not the hospital) for any mistakes, but really if it was your child and you where worried about paparazzi, leaks, and intruders, what would you do? It is the hospital's fault for not thinking about all of their patients and not just the rich people (if this story is even true).
Jan 10, 2012
money should not blikd you to the importance of human life, whether the parents are beyonce & jay-z or a homeless couple. Once again these stories may not even be true.
Jan 10, 2012
Yea. I wouldn't give a damn who it was, you don't keep a parent from their child, that's kind of like holding a hostage, if you're willing to spend that much money, why not just have a home birth, set up A portion of your home like a hospital…..
Jan 10, 2012
Thats the same shit I said. I would sue the public hairs off that hospital.
Jan 10, 2012
Couldnt have said it better bay. Selfishness is a bitch. Thats why they say money is the devil.
Jan 10, 2012
Couldnt have said it better bay. Selfishness is a bitch. Thats why they say money is the devil. With money comes greed and with greed comes hate. And they just showed a damn good example
Jan 10, 2012
Couldnt have said it better bay. Selfishness is a bitch. Thats why they say money is the devil. With money comes greed and with greed comes hate. And they just showed a damn good example
Jan 10, 2012
I hope the talentless bozos and the hospitals get sued! May their baby grow up in the lime light but to bring shame.
Jan 10, 2012
The fact that the hospital accepted the money to section off an entire wing of the hospital and allow Beyonce and Jay-z's security to deny parents access to their children is morally and ethically reprehensible. I know hospitals are always in need of money, but this just crosses the line. This actually ENRAGES ME, and I don't even have kids nor even want them, but I understand the need/basic right parents have to be with their newborns especially if they are in NICU. The parents have the grounds to sue both the hospital and the couple. I really hope the parents get a nice chunk of change, too. I know this country is known for being sue-happy, but the suing of people who think they are divine beings and the whole world should just stop for them should be encouraged when the grounds are there. I have not willingly listened to a Jay-Z or Beyonce song, but I can tell you the artists I do listen to blow their commercialized music out of the water. Jay-Z has been known to make Illuminati-like gestures and use Illuminati-symbolism in his videos. We should not be supporting the ill-will of the Illuminati, let me just tell you that. People need to start supporting the little artists, the ones who don't cave in to the corporate/media world, and the Illuminati would be in for a rude awakening. But of course not, we all have to be sheeple and just follow other people blindly. Anywho, I doubt any of the moms giving birth to their children were starstruck nor cared about Jay-z and Beyonce's soon to be spoiled brat of a child. No one, I repeat NO ONE should be denied access to the crucial and precious moments of a newborn baby. Let this incident ruin the careers of Jay-Z and Beyonce…please boycot all products endorsed by them and music unless they issue a truly heartfelt apology for this incident and give the parents the monetary compensation they deserve! But, they probably think they are in the right knowing the rich narcisstic snobbery of the so-called "stars" these days, and will most likely say it was for the protection of their beloved bratty infant because it's all about them and no one else. We're all peons compared to them. I just can't wait until some apocalpyse comes and the economy no longer exists which means money won't matter anymore-just the skills you have to survive. These celebrities would be the first to crumble and die in a world like that since they depend so much on others for everything. The tables will turn one day, my friends, and although I wish ill-will on no one, I am TIRED of celebrity snootiness and the holier than thou attitudes they push on us. No one is better than anyone else, money is just money. It buys you materialistic things, but it can't make you happy nor make you a good person. We are all equal in this world because death makes us equal. We can't take our things to the grave. /end rant.
Jan 10, 2012
Thats the point Im making exactly. Because of money, and the power behind it, people were kept from their children, and now they will probably end up paying the same amounts or more from the lawsuits and court costs. And as for if the story is true or not, no one knows. Im simply responding to the article.

The director of the hospital has stated that the rumors of them renting out the whole floor is false and that they didn't inconvenience anyone so who are we really to believe. Its all the media making a big hoopla over a damn baby being born that gets all the rumors started.

I am so tired of hearing about these 2 and their child I really don't know what to do. I love them both and think that the media needs to give it a rest. I realize its their job but damn give it a break….

I guess Beyonce and Jay Z think their baby is the only one that matters. What a selfish pair.If you have to buy out a hospital and have your bodyguards FORBID other parents you needed to have that baby at home and drop out of the lime light.Money allows people to do what ever they please including keeping people from seeing their own baby. That is the most selfish thing I have ever heard. That body guard would of had to beat my a$$ to stop me from seeing my sick child.

Phoenix Rising Considering their STAR STATUS if they didn't want the public breathing on their child she should of had it at home. What if it were you that couldn't see your child because of them?

If they don't want to be followed around then they need to drop out of the Stardom they are in.They had no consideration for other parents. They are not Royalty.Just music stars.

Agreed!!!!

So if you had a baby at the same time you wouldn't care that you couldn't see it ,specially if it was sick, due to this situation?
Jan 10, 2012
Kendall Fleming Dennis would most likely do nothing!!!

Dewana Woodall Overton I would care and like I said not to play advocate but people are making such a fuss…like it's disappointing but it's over and done…get over it. What's causing an uproar going to do about it? Nothing but waste your energy and time. They're not your children so if the parents wanna sue…let them handle it. Plus, if you haven't noticed the "average" person rarely if ever gets heard, Beyonce's NOT the first celeb to ever rent rooms or block of parts just to have their baby and the media is so construed you really don't know what's true.
The hospital just recently made a statement that all of the accusations are FALSE, that the Carter family paid the same price as everyone else for a birthing room and then one of the suites that they have on another floor and that they would never allow people to be denied access to their kids. Heck for all we know those people are just looking for a freaking pay day…I'm just saying.
Jan 11, 2012
Dewana Woodall Overton Nore you, because its not that big of deal. Now if they had cut off power throughout the hospital and focused it into their own childs room yea, that would be a problem. But they didnt

JayZ and Beyonce might want to remember that Karma is a bitch. Keeping another Father from his newborn kids just because you are celebrities is pure BS.
Jan 11, 2012
Jakari Goon I absolutely would have.A bodyguard has no authority to stop anyone from seeing their own Child.I suppose you would of just walked off and let them keep you from your child?
Jan 11, 2012
Dewana Woodall Overton I would be worked up a bit but I wouldn't be arrested for physical assault for not being able to see my new born. The child would still be alive.
Jan 14, 2012
I think this was a JayZ idea and not so much Beyonce. I believe she just went along with it. Sounds a bit like a Whitney/Bobby thang to me!

Honestly, I can see where celebrities need their privacy. Crazy fans make it necessary and celebrities that want to pay for privacy should have that right. On another note, the hospital IS at fault here and I feel that lawsuits would be justified. They should not have put celebrity clientele on the same floor as the nicu; any idiot could have figured that out. There had to be other floors available that required less access and everyone could have been accommodated here. I don't blame the hospital for taking the $ to shut down a floor, or Jay Z and Beyonce for requesting privacy and paying for it, but the hospital made a mistake by putting them near the nicu and they should be held accountable. I would sue the hell out of that hospital if I wasn't allowed to see my premature baby, and I don't blame any of the parents one bit.

Yeah if I were that guy being stopped from going to the neonatal ICU, then I'd be doing something to put both celebrity new parents AND the bodyguards into the adult ICU. Heh heh heh.

And, you are right. So much is happening in the world.
