Will ‘Teen Mom’ Season 5 Include Farrah Abraham?

Teen Mom Season 5 is right around the corner, and apparently, there’s a possibility of Farrah Abraham returning to the show. While the sex tape star was left out of the show announcement last year, a couple of publications suspect a return.

On January 22, both OK! Magazine and In Touch Weekly shared stories claiming that Abraham could be a part of Teen Mom Season 5.

After revealing the identity of Abraham’s new boyfriend, Simon Saran, OK! Magazine claimed he “could appear on upcoming episodes of Teen Mom.”

“Although it’s been confirmed by MTV that Farrah will NOT appear on the upcoming season of Teen Mom, Farrah’s dad Michael took to Facebook to subtly reveal that he and his girls (aka Farrah, Farrah’s daughter Sophia and Farrah’s mom Debra) are filming. Farrah reportedly won’t appear on the new season of Botched either, despite reports, so could this filming be something Teen Mom related instead?”

Hours later, In Touch Weekly wondered, “Is Farrah Abraham Returning To ‘Teen Mom?,'” as well, and shared the following message.

“Remember when Farrah Abraham denied she was returning to Teen Mom after rumors began circulating last month? Well, she has a bit of explaining to do considering her father, Mike Abraham, announced on Facebook that his family was being filmed — likely for a reality TV show!”

This isn’t the first time Abraham was said to be returning for Teen Mom Season 5. Just last month, as the Inquisitr reported, a source claimed Abraham was on board.

“She’ll join the cast [if the show gets picked up for another season].”

In a report by Hollywood Life, it was noted that MTV had “no comment” about the story.

After reportedly being fired by MTV ahead of Teen Mom Season 5, Abraham spoke to Us Weekly, claiming the drama surrounding her exit led to inspiration for her erotic novels.

“I think because of the experiences I went through, and I think some of them were unfair, and I guess judged incorrectly from the public when I was going through some things with my sex tape. think it was the catalyst for me to start writing therapeutically, and then I was thinking of fictional characters so I could kind of get out of my head and this came about.”

As for her former co-stars, Abraham doesn’t seem to be missing them one bit.

“Truthfully I was never friends with any of them. Personally I like to keep my life separate. We came in this project separate, and I think it’s best we keep our lives separate.”

According to Teen Mom Junkies, Teen Mom Season 5 will return to MTV on Feb. 2.
