One Direction Star Liam Payne Wants To Help Change The World
One Direction star Liam Payne broke his Twitter silence last night in sensational fashion. As was reported in the Inquisitr yesterday, Liam has been keeping a low profile for the past few weeks. His appearance at the Milwaukee Bucks 95-79 beating of New York Knicks at London’s o2 Arena in their regular season fixture away from the U.S. on January 15 being the only time he has been spotted since early January.
PopCrush reports that Liam has at last broken his silence by putting a lengthy post up on Twitter, outlining his concerns about what is happening across the world. Liam wrote out an entire paragraph urging fans to support charities who work in “third world [countries].” He also singles out Ghana as a country where people “don’t have anything” and “can’t buy food.” Liam Payne visited Ghana with One Direction back in 2013, and a report from a hospital saw both Liam and Harry Styles visibly upset.

Unreality TV say that Liam begins his post on Twitter by saying, “I don’t ever claim to be a good person I’m not, but I feel that I wanna be a humanitarian.”
Liam goes on to explain that he wants to use the press attention that he and band mates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik get from fans worldwide to help to make positive changes to the world.
Big-hearted Liam said, “[T]he world needs to change, band together right now the same way me and one direction have the past few years, I’m a young man and to me the world is a pretty messed up place, with a huge lack of trust I don’t understand much of it but what I do hurts me entirely, the young people of today are the difference we can change the face of the earth.”
Liam explains that in his travels around the world with One Direction, he has seen “imbalance,” and he implores his fans to speak out to help to “topple the imbalance.”
Liam concludes by asking his fans to find charities overseas and to “give to a third world country and help them grow I’ve been there to Ghana they don’t have anything they can’t buy food from the groceries or McDonald’s they have to get food by any mean necessary. so find a way to help donate to any charity and help change the world today.”
Shortly after Liam posted his Twitlonger, fans got #LetsHelpLiamChangeTheWorld trending on Twitter as only Directioners can. Liam’s message has already been re-tweeted 100K times and Favorited 115K times.
Liam Payne’s fans are the latest One Direction supporters to show their charitable side. Fans made a sizable charitable donation in honor of Zayn Malik’s birthday, and a similar effort is underway in honor of Harry Styles Birthday next week. Earlier this week, Louis Tomlinson made a video appeal, urging people to help raise money for a toddler suffering from a rare stomach cancer.
Once again, Liam Payne has proven that One Direction and their fans care about others. This is undoubtedly one of the reasons that the band are worldwide superstars.
