Star Wars: The Old Republic patch 1.1 now available on public test server

Back in December, BioWare sent word that the first major content patch for Star Wars: The Old Republic, patch 1.1, was on its way at some point in January. Making good on their word, the company announced today that the patch is now live on the public test server.

The developer posted patch notes for SWTOR patch 1.1 over on the forums, and it introduces a number of new features, fixes and tweaks. One of the most notable new features, aside from the new instances (which we’ll get to in a moment) is the addition of anti-aliasing support.

While the patch notes are not final, it looks like as of now the patch isn’t focused so much on class balance at it is ironing out a few kinks. There are a few buffs, however, such as a buff in the Dark Charge ability for Sith Assassins, and a Battle Readiness buff for Jedi Shadows.

What fans will be most interested in with SWTOR patch 1.1 is the addition of the new Kaon Under Siege Flashpoint, and the expansion of the Karagga’s Palace Operation, with four new bosses for players to battle. BioWare also mentioned changes to the Ilum PVP zone, but the specifics on that aren’t known just yet.
