Yolanda Foster Is ‘Really Struggling,’ Claims ‘RHOBH’ Co-Star Kyle Richards

Yolanda Foster’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Kyle Richards, gave an update on her health on last night’s Watch What Happens Live. Speaking to host Andy Cohen, Richards confirmed she’d been in contact with the star, who is suffering from Lyme disease, and expressed her hopes for a speedy recovery.

“We’ve been in contact,” Richards told Cohen during the late night show’s January 20 episode, according to a report by Us Weekly on January 21. “We’ve been in contact a lot actually via texts and emails.”

“She’s just really struggling. I’m just hoping that she’s gonna get better soon. It’s terrible.”

As the Inquisitr reported last week, Yolanda Foster opened up about the worsening of her illness in her Bravo blog on January 15.

“Most of you know I have been battling Lyme disease for the past three years. I wasted the first year trying to get diagnosed and spent the next two trying to find a cure. I have gone from the conventional long-term antibiotics to about every holistic protocol there is to offer. Unfortunately, I was only able to get to about a 60% recovery until I relapsed in early December and have not been able to find my way back.”

“Lyme Neuroborreliosis is a spirochete infection in the brain that can leave one with severe brain impairment and neurological issues. I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can’t process information or any stimulation for that matter. It feels like someone came in and confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back to just watch and see life go by without me participating in it.”

Currently, Yolanda Foster and her husband, David, are in Singapore, where he’s filming Asia’s Got Talent, and she’s being treated for her illness.

“A lot of great medicines and ancient therapies are blocked by the FDA, so that’s why I choose to travel and recognize the value of diverse points of view in medicine.”

According to a report by Radar Online, David is prepared to do whatever it takes to help his wife get to a healthier place — even if it means spending thousands for her treatment.

“David has vowed to spend whatever is needed to get her cured. The treatment outside of the United States isn’t covered by insurance, and it’s very expensive. Luckily, they can afford it.”
