Fergie, Josh Duhamel Marital Troubles Revealed? Couple Goes To Therapy

Fergie and Josh Duhamel might seem like they have a solid relationship, but their marriage has not been easy. Balancing two completely different careers is hard enough, but throw a toddler into the mix, and you have one challenging relationship. According to Allure Magazine, the two are still together but Fergie admitted that they are in therapy.

“[Josh is] not afraid [of therapy]…. He doesn’t feel like he’s not man enough,” Fergie said of her suggestion to get help.

It’s unclear how frequently the two sit down with a therapist, but they both seem determined to keep the lines of communication open, even if they need someone to facilitate that.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel apparently want to add to their family, even if life is a bit hectic. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the couple is trying to conceive another child, and hope to have some good news some time this year. The pair just celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on January 9. Evidently some people thought the two wouldn’t make it this long.

“People are surprised that they have lasted this long, but they are not. They are best friends before anything else. They are so low-key because they love what they do, but don’t like the life that comes with it. They prefer to be home with each other rather than out there because of the lack of privacy. She says she will be with him forever.”

The couple does seem to have things figured out to some extent, which is more than a lot of people can say for themselves. They both respect each other’s careers which is super important, but they also realize that their son, Axl, takes precedence.

“We’ve already talked about how we’re going to have to trade off. He’s going to have to come on tour with Axl for a while, and then there’ll be a break. He’ll take a job; I’ll be on set with [Axl]. You know?” Fergie said of how she and Josh plan to weave their careers into their family life.

It’s very important for them to be together as much as possible, which is a great sign. Hollywood Life praised the 38-year-old L.A. Love singer for being open and honest about going to counseling. People tend to think that it’s immediately a sign of bad news, but it’s really a sign of two people caring enough about each other to try.
