Miranda Lambert Treats Fans To New Look For ‘Platinum’ Tour
Miranda Lambert kicked off her latest tour in support of her Platinum album, minus one key component — her signature platinum locks!
According to Taste Of Country, roughly 80 lucky fans were treated to a sneak peek of the Lambert tour at Nashville’s Exit/In on January 13. The country star, however, looked noticeably different.
“The superstar took the small stage in leather hotpants over sheer tights, sporting a T-shirt with simply the word ‘Nashville’ scrawled across it. And while she looked flawless, fans couldn’t help but notice her hair seemed a bit… darker. Instead of her typically super blonde, shoulder-length locks, Lambert was muted — her new color is much darker than the one she sported at the American Country Countdown Awards last month.”
The site also commented that it didn’t appear as if Miranda cut any great length off of her hair, but that it “seems she may have added a few more layers. She’s still got her mane’s classic side part in check for the tour.”
Her hubby, country star Blake Shelton, took a snapshot of wife Miranda and posted it to his Twitter account for all the world to see. He captioned the pic “Brunette @mirandalambert <3."

Miranda recently opened up to Gibson about her rocker husband, Blake, and how their marriage has affected her music.
“I think [marriage has] made it easier. I no longer write the ‘cheatin’, burn your house down’ songs as much as I once did. It’s great being married to another artist. We bounce ideas off one another and give one another advice, and each of us knows what the other is going through.”
Miranda also dished on how the celebrity life has impacted their life together, both creatively and at home.
“Everything starts and ends with music. The celebrity and tabloid stuff strays away from that and turns you into a caricature sometimes. It becomes about everything but the music. Blake and I both have to bring it back around to what’s important. Without the music, we don’t have anything.”
Finally, as reported by Inquisitr, Lambert mentioned how big a fan she is of strong women in the industry like Beyonce and Reba McIntyre.
“One strong female artist I look up to is Beyoncé. She handles herself well and has such class. As far as building an empire goes — and reinventing yourself and being true to yourself — I would say Reba McIntyre and Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn are people I look up to most.”
