Mama June Not Letting Unemployment Stop Her From Huge Purchase [Photos]

Mama June may be unemployed after TLC called it quits with the Shannon family matriarch over her alleged relationship with convicted child molester Mark McDaniel, but she didn’t let that stop her from buying a new home, TMZ reports.

The home, pictured in the photo gallery below, is located in Hampton, Georgia, and has a grand total of 3,225 square feet with a total of four bedrooms. The eat-in kitchen is large, with cherry wood cabinets. The kitchen steps down and opens up to a light-filled hearth room with a white fireplace. The home also has a two-story foyer, vaulted ceilings throughout the living areas, a formal dining room with wainscoting, a formal living room with beautiful bay windows, tray ceilings in the bedrooms, and a Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. The home reportedly has a pool, as well.

Mama June’s home is new, bright, large, has modern finishes… and it’s reported that Mama June paid $149,000 for the home — a shocking figure to anyone living in New York or California, but a large commitment to someone who has no job and certainly no prospect of her once-popular show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo being picked up again.

If the house, with its grand windows and brick facade, looks familiar, it’s because it is familiar. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, it’s the same house that Mama June checked out with convicted child molester Mark McDaniel in tow last September, at the height of the controversy over her relationship with a man who molested one of her own children.

The idea that the new Shannon family home is the same one that Mama June checked out (along with her own daughters!) with convicted child molester Mark McDaniel raises the question of whether or not this development will add any strain to the recent and tenuous re-connection Mama June managed to make with Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell — her eldest daughter and the one whom McDaniel molested.

That particular reunion, however, came with a very specific price tag. The cost of reuniting with her daughter, who was very angry and betrayed over her mother’s alleged relationship with her own child molester, was $15,400. That figure represents the very last of the money left in Chickadee’s trust fund. Chickadee originally accused Mama June of scraping off the top of her trust fund, but Mama June maintained that the money in the fund was dwindling because she was paying Anna’s expenses out of it.

What do you think of Mama June’s new home? Do you think it’s an indicator that she may have a new show in the works, or did she make an impulsive purchase for someone without a paycheck?
