Chris Harrison Bashed Over Recent ‘Bachelor’ Interview: ‘I Probably Wasn’t Her Favorite Person’

Chris Harrison is the host of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelors in Paradise and the summer drama Bachelor Pad. Harrison has been with the show since the very beginning and he isn’t afraid of asking the tough questions. And he has witnessed quite a bit over the years. Not only did Jason Mesnick break up with his final pick to date the runner-up, but Harrison also had to handle the awkward After the Final Rose episodes for both Ben Flajnik and more recently, Juan Pablo Galavis.

While Chris Harrison is the person who brought happiness to many people, he is also the annoying host asking the tough questions for some. And when Harrison confronted Nikki Ferrell on the red carpet for the Bachelor premiere episode, people were not pleased with Chris’ questions.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Chris Harrison was asking Nikki questions about her failed relationship and many people felt that Chris kept trying to get her to bash Juan Pablo. But Ferrell kept defending her former partner, saying that he really is a great guy. Harrison, on the other hand, kept asking questions to bring him down.

“I got a lot of crap on social media for beating her up and I was like, ‘It couldn’t have been a softer interview!’ I’m privy to information, but none of those details are for me to say. It’s her story and Juan Pablo’s. If they want to talk about it, great. The goal wasn’t to have her come out and trash Juan Pablo,” Chris Harrison reveals about the interview that got him some heat.

Harrison asked some tough questions during the After the Final Rose episode, and Nikki wasn’t too pleased with his aggressive approach. Many people felt that Juan Pablo just needed to say “I love you” to Nikki, and when he didn’t, Chris kept asking him why not. It sucked the romance right out of the show. So, Chris didn’t think that Ferrell really wanted to see him.

“I really didn’t know until she got up there if she was going to talk to me or not and because… I probably wasn’t her favorite person. It meant a lot to me that she’d get up there. I think now she’s out of the fog and she sees the light everyone saw a long time ago,” Chris adds, revealing, “She gave me a hug after and said thanks and that she thought it was fair.”

Since then, Harrison has been surprised on several occasions. He has said that he was super shocked over Andi Dorfman‘s split with Josh Murray. In addition, Chris Harrison is also dealing with the popularity of Chris Soules as the women are determined to be “the one” for him, according to the Inquisitr.
