Did China fake its spacewalk?

faked-chinese-spacewalk

I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the video, but at least one person on YouTube is claiming that China faked its spacewalk last year.

The video claims that the footage allegedly showing Chinese astronauts space walking was taken underwater, with evidence including bubbles, reflected lights, and the earth remaining still in the background.

Here’s the alleged “proof” of the fake.

You have to admit it is some pretty convincing evidence.

It looks absolutely fake. I've heard they claim it's debris in space, but if it's debris why does the particle accelerate? The fact is it wouldn't accelerate unless it were in earths gravity under water. Under water bubbles speed up as they travel towards the surface or away etc. If they aired this saying they were in space, they lied. Now the challenge with this is that in the past moon hoaxers trying to make money say the U.S. and Russia etc never went into space, never went to the moon etc. It's been debunked a million times now.

I know we went as well, because I saw too many little things happen over the years that wouldn't happen if everything were faked etc. But it's hard for young kids (25 and under) to understand this. But still debunked. With this Chinese footage it's pretty hard to debunk it when you clearly see bubbles speeding up, multiple times. Also when they talk you can hear room ambiance, where in American and Russian flights you the astronauts have no ambiance because they are not in a room, but simply in their suits. I mean, I could make this really long, but I found quite a few things wrong with this video. They couldn't possibly be in space.

I'll add that the video was of pretty bad quality. And the acceleration could be due to camera fore shortning.. But at this point I need to check every thing better. So I'm not 100% sure it's faked now.

  4. Dear All,

Please DO NOT trade with Eage Living Company Ltd. They are Scammers known to the British and Chinese consulates in London and Beijing/Shanghai/Ningbo. We have it known from the authorities that they have tried to scam two other companies before us.

They asked to us to 100,000 SKU's. This raised a few suspicions as nobody purchases that amount upfront in our business. We finally settled on a 15K SKU's split into 12 monthly shipments against a Letter of Credit with 30% contract value up front.

    Tuesday before the Friday we were to fly out to China to sign off on the contract we discovered through our Due Diligance that they were a fake company who were going to;

    a) Ask for fees etc to notarise the contract in advance (probably their lawyer was some relative or fellow scammer and not a lawyer)

    b) Letter of Credits from China can not be Irrevocable and Confirmed as all banks are owned by the Government and thyerefore can be cancelled at any time.

    c) Address and Telephone Numbers do not exist (see below)

    d) There website is all in English. By law they have to display everything in Chinese aswell.

    e) Their turnover was shown in US Dollars not local currency, however, they said that their bank was mainland China and Hong Kong (access to foreign currency)

    f) Trading / Business / Import Export Licence transpired to be fake.

Before trading with any customer, Chinese or Not through Alibaba I would suggest running a due diligence through the embassy / consulates.

Why did we not discover these things before planning our trip? One of our trusted Friends in China had not updated his Spam filter so our new email address had got blocked!

  7. Definitely a fake space walk. I watched the entire 19 minutes frame by frame with my CS3 film editor and found lots of bubbles and lots of digitally edited sections where bubbles were removed. The big giveaway is the buoyancy of the tether lines and the way the flag moves. Besides that it's easy to fake something like this in a NBL, just remove the extra blue tinge, and presto!

Did you also see this newer video?

As for the “lamps” – if you watch all 19 minutes of the “walk” you see several reverse angle shots which show the 2 cameras used and no lighting. The “lamps” are from way overhead as in a typical NBL lighting setup.
