A Kim And Kanye Themed Valentine’s Day At NYC Restaurant

You usually celebrate Valentine’s Day with roses and chocolates and love notes, but now you can add a little Kimye to your Valentine’s Day.

The Brooklyn based restaurant, Brucie, is planning a special Kim and Kanye themed menu for Valentine’s Day this year. Last year on Valentine’s Day, the Italian restaurant in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn featured the Beyonce specials. This year, though, they are going all out.

Whereas there was just one special for last Valentine’s Day, this year patrons will get to choose from the Kim menu or the Kanye menu. So what makes these Valentine’s Day menus so special?

The oh-so-romantic five-course menus include a variety of dishes. Go with the Kim menu and enjoy stuffed “Kalimari,” “Sticky Rice Balls,” “Mak N Kheese,” “Khicken Fried Rump Roast,” and last but not least, “Karrot Kake.”

Feeling more in the mood for some Kanye inspired courses? If you do, you’ll have the chance to enjoy five courses which include, “Gold Digger,” “All Foie’s Down,” “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” “‘Bound 2’ Pork Roulade Bourguinon,” and lastly “Imma Let You Finish.”

Feeling extra romantic a la Lady and the Tramp? Feel free to share “The North West” or the “‘No Church in the Wild’ Mushroom Polenta” with that special someone.

So what exactly inspired Brucie owner and chef Zahra Tangorra to create a Kimye themed Valentine’s Day menu? Tangorra reported to the New York Daily News that she was listening to a “Yeezus playlist shortly after Kardashian’s nude ‘Paper’ magazine cover went viral.”

Tangorra went on to say, “We said, ‘Let’s do Kim Kardashian and break the restaurant.”

The restaurant has been promoting their Valentine’s Day specials, saying that it’s “L.A. meets Paris.”

Although Kim, who usually takes to social media to comment on everything, hasn’t said anything, Brucie’s site says, “Kim rejoices as Brooklyn restaurant dedicates Valentine’s Day menu to the sexy star and her bad boy rapper hubby!”

Feeling like a little Kimye could add a certain something to your Valentine’s Day this year? Dinner will be served from 6 p.m. until midnight, and each menu will cost you a cool $100 per person.

Although that’s their plan, let’s hope Kimye and Brucie don’t break Valentine’s Day this year.
