Maci Bookout Pregnant: Is She Planning Her Wedding?
When Maci Bookout announced her second pregnancy, fans were shocked. The reality show star is already a mother to 6-year-old Bentley, and this time around, she is expecting a baby girl. Of course, she was meant with some criticism for being a Teen Mom and getting pregnant again, but things are different for Maci this time.
MTV News points out that both Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell (who recently welcomed another daughter into the world on New Year’s Day) have changed so much since fans first met them on 16 and Pregnant. Back then, both girls’ lives were completely different, but these days, they are more the same than anything else.
When Maci gave birth to Bentley, she was in a tumultuous relationship with her then boyfriend, Ryan Edwards. The two tried to make their relationship work, but it just didn’t happen. As a result, each moved on with new people. While Ryan Edwards has had a harder time finding “the one,” Maci Bookout has been dating Taylor McKinney for quite some time. In fact, he recently picked up and moved across the country to Tennessee to be closer to his reality show star girlfriend.
Like Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell is in a stable relationship, but she is still with Tyler Baltierra. The two are planning a 2015 wedding that will likely take place at the end of summer, according to a previous report from the Inquisitr. However, is Maci planning to get married to Taylor McKinney? She revealed to InTouch (via Hollywood Life) that she doesn’t want to be a pregnant bride.
“Before I got pregnant, we talked heavily about marriage— and we still do, but I don’t want to be a pregnant bride. That would be way too stressful! Plus, I want to be able to have fun at my wedding.”
However, does that mean that she hasn’t started wedding planning just yet? As far as fans know, the Teen Mom star (who will be returning to television sometime this year) is not yet engaged, but she recently retweeted a tweet from a Chattanooga-based wedding planner that has some fans wondering if perhaps she is planning a wedding for later this year. Of course, the retweet doesn’t mean that Maci is indeed planning a wedding just yet, but she could rather be helping out the wedding planner with the retweet. Whatever the case, it seems that Maci and Taylor do have wedding plans for the future.
Maci Bookout’s pregnancy will play out on the new season of Teen Mom, which is set to premiere later this year.
