Jennifer Aniston’s ‘First Love’ Not Brad Pitt: Late Actor’s Widow Slams Actress For Comments

Jennifer Aniston is in hot water after comments that her “first love”– who is not Brad Pitt — was probably “the one.” The late man’s wife is not amused, and is slamming the actress for her statement.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, Aniston confessed that her first love was Tony Award-nominated actor Daniel McDonald.

“He would have been the one,” Aniston said. “But I was 25 and stupid. He must have sent me Justin to make up for it all.”

The comments didn’t sit well with McDonald’s widow, Mujah Maraini-Melehi, who posted an emotional statement on Facebook. The woman is reportedly recently remarried, but that didn’t stop her from taking jabs at the Friends star.

“Please respect our love and especially our Loss. The children lost their father. I lost my partner.”

“I am sorry that Jennifer did not realize the treasure that was Daniel when she had the chance, long before he and I met and long before he died.”

“It pains me to read the headlines that allude to her losing him tragically when she was not present during his long and difficult illness. That said perhaps Daniel’s gift was to teach her how to love and appreciate Justin Theroux.”

Jennifer Aniston is a constant topic of tabloid magazines in regards to her relationships, weight, pregnancy rumors, etc. Amid great media attention, Aniston and Brad Pitt — currently married to Angelina Jolie — dated and later married in 2000. The marriage seemed a rare, happy one, until the couple followed the path of many in Hollywood and ended their relationship in 2005.

Pitt was accused of cheating on Jennifer when he met Jolie while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith, after which they began a relationship. Through the years, the 45-year-old has been linked to several high-profile names, including John Mayer and Vince Vaughn, but got engaged to Justin Theroux two years ago.

Rumors about a break-up are inevitable after such a long engagement, however, Jennifer Aniston and her fiance dismiss the talk. Aniston and McDonald dated for five years, but their relationship ended in 1994. McDonald died from brain cancer in 2007, at the age of 46.

According to Jennifer Aniston’s old love’s widow, after he passed away she try to contact the actress.

“After Daniel died, I reached out to her to give her back all the photographs from the time they were together. I never got an answer back from her.”
