Google Gets Into Business-Review Business

Google has introduced a new cell phone-based business review system.

When you search for a business name from your mobile browser and navigate to the “results” page, you’ll now be given an option to sign in and write a review. You can then give the business a star-rating and an actual written assessment for other Google users to read.

The database will link into Google Maps, so anyone searching for the business on a map will see the compiled reviews.

Oddly, the feature is only being offered on non-iPhones in the U.S. thus far. Google says an iPhone-friendly version is on the way.
