‘The Bold And The Beautiful’s’ Hope Logan To Be Played By ‘General Hospital’ Actress? Rumor Intensifies

Rumors are intensifying over who’s going to replace Kim Matula as Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful. According to Crossmap, the latest General Hospital news spilled that actress, Kristen Alderson, is leaving her role as Kiki Jerome.

Soap Opera Digest confirmed the news and rumor is that she up and left GH to pursue the role of Hope at B&B. Fans have noticed Alderson donning blonde hair on social media recently. Prior to that she looked quite a bit different from Matula with darker hair. The change in her look is stirring up speculation that she’s prepping for the big role, which has a lot of juicy storylines.

Since the role of Kiki wasn’t going anywhere on GH, many say it only makes sense that she left the ABC soap opera to act on the CBS soap.

When Matula exited the role, a troubled Hope was on her way to see her mother in Italy. The audience could tell she’d be gone for a while. She said her goodbye to Liam Spencer and faded off the screen as she walked away from him. This happened immediately after she had a miscarriage and wanted out of her marriage with Wyatt Fuller.

It’s uncertain if Kristen Alderson will portray Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, but the coincidence could be a clue.

Other soap actresses believed to fill Kim Matula’s shoes as Hope are Julie Marie Berman and Chrishell Staus from Days Of Our Lives.

At this point no hints have been leaked by producers about when Hope will be recast. When it was first announced that Kim was leaving the role, there wasn’t a plan to recast Hope Logan. A few weeks later Bradley P. Bell announced that Hope is far too important of a character to write off the show. She’s centric in that several other characters’ storylines heavily involve her.

Without Hope, a lot would be missing. Liam and Ivy Forrester are having a relationship, but once Hope returns to the scene that will be challenged once more. Hope and Liam are like Brooke and Ridge — a soap opera super couple. Although Hope loves Wyatt and their chemistry is incredibly hot, her heart is sincerely with Liam. Having Quinn for a mom doesn’t help Wyatt any. The woman is a whack job and has made an enemy of Hope. Things were bad between them before Hope had her miscarriage, but it’d be hard for them to go back now.

It’ll be interesting to see who producers recast as Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful.
