Adrien Broner Apologizes To Jay Z: ‘I Was Wrong’

Controversial boxer Adrien Broner for his comments made at rapper Jay Z and Rihanna. Jay Z offered Broner an $8 million contract for up to four years. Broner retaliated and said that he was offended by Jay Z’s offer, and hit him with some cruel remarks.

According to a report on the Daily Mail, Broner hit back at Jay with his words instead of his fists. The boxer said some disgusting stuff about the rapper in a Facebook rant. Broner said that Jay should “suck his d**k” before further attacking the rapper in an interview with TMZ Sports.

Broner didn’t stop there though. When asked if the accepting the offer from Jay Z would get him “one degree closer” to pop singer Rihanna, who is also signed to Jay Z’s label, Broner remarked, “F**k Rihanna, she’s only good for p***y.”

But now the boxer has backtracked on his remarks made about Jay Z and Rihanna. He apologized to both in a recent interview with TMZ.

“I’ve gotta address something because I’m getting a lot of feedback from this interview I did with TMZ. I was going to let it ride out and say, ‘Forget the haters’, but my big homie called me, somebody that I respect, and he made me understand why I was wrong.”

Broner carried on in his apology to both Jay Z and Rihanna. He said that he shouldn’t have made the comments about either of the artists.

“You never invite another man to another man’s private parts. That’s just ridiculous. I was caught up in the moment, and I want to apologise to Jay for that. I’m a man at the end of the day. I’m wrong and I can admit when I’m wrong. I never should have said ‘Forget Rihanna’… I said it in a more explicit way. I’m wrong, I’m sorry. If Jay wants to talk to me, you can get in touch with me and we can talk about it.”

This isn’t the first time that Jay Z has been verbally attacked. Rumored 2016 presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has also had some fighting words for the rapper. In his new book God, Guns, Grits and Gravy, he talked about Jay Z’s relationship with singer Beyonce.

The Fox News commentator called Jay a “pimp” who exploits his wife.

“Beyonce is incredibly talented –- gifted, in fact. She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing. She is a terrific dancer –- without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom. Jay Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?”

Mike Huckabee’s comments about Jay Z and Beyonce were obviously uncalled for and inappropriate. Jay Z is getting dragged in the mud from everyone these days. The rapper can’t seem to catch a break. But it doesn’t matter, since Jay Z’s net worth is over $1 billion, according to Vogue UK. He’s obviously laughing all the way to the bank.
