Flight 1549 Audio: Chesley B. ‘Sully’ Sullenberger is one cool dude

The FAA has released the transcript and audio between Flight 1549 and air traffic control in the minutes prior to the plane landing in the Hudson.

The remarkable thing about the audio is despite having lost both engines, how cool, calm and collected pilot Chesley B. ‘Sully’ Sullenberger was.

Here’s the Flight 1549 audio. It’s a shame the United States doesn’t do knighthoods, because Chesley B. ‘Sully’ Sullenberger deserves one.
