Kate Middleton is among many women, especially those in public roles, who like to watch their weight and stay in shape just in case they get snapped when they least expect it by an over-eager paparazzi photographer.
So how does Kate Middleton — who could be described as an extremely “public” public figure, as she finds herself at numerous royal engagements on a regular basis — keep so slim and slender?
According to recent reports, like one in The Independent on Monday, the Duchess’ secret to looking good is super healthy juices and smoothies, and she is reportedly a huge fan of the popular juicer, the Nutribullet.
For those of you who haven’t heard of it, the Nutribullet has the ability to churn everything from spinach to cashew nuts, and is a cross between a blender and super-powerful juicer.
The report noted that Kate Middleton’s slim figure, and ability to maintain it, was all down to the juices, so much so that drinking fresh fruit and vegetable juices enabled her to drop a whole dress size before her wedding in 2011.
On top of that, as reported by the New York Daily News, Kate is a huge fan of the controversial Dukan diet, which she inherited from her mother, Carole Middleton.
But the founder of the Dukan diet, Pierre Dukan, told the News that he felt that Kate lost a bit too much before her wedding.
“I think she lost too much. In the beginning, she had good cheeks. Now, she has no cheeks,” he said.
For the time being, while staying as healthy as possible, all diets are off for Kate Middleton as she looks forward to birth of her second royal baby in around three months time.
Until then, Kate will be taking it easy, when it comes to both her diet and her exercise regime, as she only recently recovered from serious bouts of morning sickness, which she also suffered from when pregnant with Prince George.
