Three Held In Custody As Murder Inquiry Launched On Street Where Kate Middleton’s Mom Grew Up

A murder investigation is underway after a man was found lying on the ground after collapsing on Clarence Street in Southall, England. Police and Ambulance crews rushed the man to the hospital for treatment, but he was soon pronounced dead. Three men are being held in custody as an inquiry was launched over the man’s death.

The incident occurred on the same street where Kate Middelton’s mother, Carole, grew up. The murder inquiry is not expected to have any connection to the Duchess of Cambridge or her mother, but authorities were quick to react as to ensure the streets were safe again, and so that no tarnish would be brought to the Middleton name and Kate’s mom’s area of upbringing.

The incident occurred on Sunday night, according to London 24. The victim is a 41-year-old male, but has not yet been identified until a formal identification and post mortem examination takes place. His next of kin have been contacted and made aware of the incident.

Reports state that the man simply collapsed in the street and London Ambulance was called to assist. They arrived just after the 11:49 p.m. call came in and quickly rushed the man to the hospital where he later died. Police launched an investigation into the death and apprehended three individuals that they believe are responsible for the potential murder. The three men, according to Get West London, are ages 29, 26, and 20. Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are heading the investigation.

The incident was tweeted to the world by a local resident, stating that “Forensics and police all over my road, was riot police too.”

There are no current details on the nature of the man’s death, although the post mortem investigation was conducted on Tuesday. There is also little information about the three men that are suspected of causing the man’s death.

Police and other authorities were quick to apprehend the men, hoping the incident would not rise up and tarnish the street where Kate Middleton’s mother grew up. The neighborhood is typically considered a quiet place and its small connection to the Duchess of Cambridge may be its single claim to fame.

The investigation is ongoing and more information is expected to be released in the next few days regarding the incident.
