Robin Thicke: Girlfriend April Love Geary Was Too Young To Party With Singer On NYE

Robin Thicke may have just learned one of the perils of dating a girl nearly half his age.

The “Blurred Lines” singer was only able to spend part of New Year’s Eve with his new girlfriend, April Love Geary, because at age 20, the model is too young to get into clubs.

A source told the New York Post that Thicke and Geary had dinner together at Bazaar Meat inside the SLS Hotel, but she had to stay behind when Robin went to the Foxtail Nightclub, where the crowd is strictly 21 and over.

While April Love Geary stayed behind, Robin Thicke reportedly had a wild time. At one point he jumped into the crowd to perform “Blurred Lines” and was mobbed by women. Sources say he partied into the early morning hours.

April Love Geary has been dating Robin Thicke for several weeks, and the relationship has stirred up quite a bit of controversy. When she was still 19, April shared some pictures of herself in what TMZ determined was the bed that Thicke and ex Paula Patton once shared.

As SheKnows pointed out, the timing of the pictures seemed a bit shady.

“So, to review: Thicke allegedly cheated on Patton and then made her sit through the disturbing gyrations of her then-husband during the 2013 VMAs, endure the bizarre video for ‘Blurred Lines’ in which fully nude models strut around Thicke, suffer through his other odd behavior, listen to him beg to get her back and, then, he ultimately makes her watch as he romances a teenage girl from her former bedroom. Yeesh.”

Geary also created a stir with a recent photo shoot with famed photographer Neave Bozorgi, who showed her in various stages of undress. TMZ found the racy photos and published some of the tamer ones.

But Paula Patton doesn’t seem too bothered by Robin Thicke and his much-younger girlfriend, April Love Geary. She reportedly found a new relationship herself with Zak Walters, a singer and songwriter from Los Angeles.
