Is Mariah Carey Going To Vegas? Mimi ‘In Talks’ For Multimillion-Dollar Show At Caesars

Mariah Carey could be making a big career move — literally. According to Radar Online, Mimi might be moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, as she is rumored to be in talks to star in her own show at Caesar’s Palace. The details of a potential show have not been revealed just yet, but Mariah certainly fits the bill. Other divas from Shania Twain to Celine Dion have had great success with their Vegas shows, and Mariah would likely be no different.

Radar Online reports the following.

“While the contract hasn’t been finalized, sources claim it could be worth more than Britney Spears’ two-year, $30 million deal once negotiations wrap up, and Mariah could hit the Strip before the holidays of 2015!”

Rumors of a Mariah Carey Vegas show have surfaced months after she and husband Nick Cannon split up. Many believe that Mariah would like to settle down with her kids in Las Vegas and just have a steady schedule that will allow her to stay in one place for a while. It is unknown if Cannon would move to Vegas too, but his work in Los Angeles would allow him to make trips to see his kids on a regular basis. However, he films America’s Got Talent in New York City, so that would be a bit more complicated. This is one thing that could hold Mariah back.

According to Page Six, Carey’s deal would net her some serious cash, but it’s unknown how many years she will agree to do. However, Carey could totally use a little career bump, and many would likely head to Vegas just to see her.

“Carey recently wrapped up a minitour around Asia, ‘The Elusive Chanteuse Show,’ where her performances received mixed reviews. Her appearance during the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting was even rockier.”

Whether or not her recent performances were under par doesn’t really matter. People still enjoy Carey’s music. She has had many hits over the decades, and she is a true performer. Having a steady show in one place a few days a week might really revamp Carey’s career.

A Mariah Carey Vegas show really couldn’t come soon enough for the singer. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, she has been having a rough time with her impending divorce, and she and Nick have supposedly been fighting over everything from property to custody of their two kids (twins Moroccan and Monroe, 3).
