Katy Perry and Russell Brand Have Big Fight, Spend Christmas Apart

Rumors that Katy Perry and Russell Brand are heading toward divorce intensified over the holidays as the two spent Christmas more than 7,000 miles away from each other.

E! Online reports that Perry spent the holidays in Hawaii without her husband and Brand spent Christmas with friends and family in England. But are Katy Perry and Russell Brand heading for divorce? Or is the internet just making up lies again?

A source told US Weekly that the couple decided to spend Christmas apart after having a massive fight. The source said:

“They had a massive fight… She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too.”

Several other anonymous sources have reported that Brand and Perry are heading toward a divorce but the celebrity couple insist that they are happily married. The last time rumors about their relationship began to circulate, Brand appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show to dismiss the rumors. Brand said:

“There is always rumors, aren’t there?… I’ve treated the whole internet now like it’s a wicked little liar. I am really happily married.”

Perry also dismissed the rumors. Perry said:

“First I’m pregnant & then I’m divorced… What am I All My Children?!… Just cause we don’t flaunt our relationship doesn’t mean there’s something wrong w/it. Privacy is our luxury.”

The Daily Mail reports that the couple has blamed a busy schedule for keeping them apart during their first year of marriage, so you would think that they would take the holiday break to enjoy some time together. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that their relationship is in trouble.
