Katy Perry Taylor Swift: Is Katy Planning To Diss Taylor During Her Super Bowl Performance?
The rumored Katy Perry / Taylor Swift feud might reach a peak at the Super Bowl as rumors suggest that the Roar singer will call out the country star during her halftime performance. According to The Christian Post, Swift opened up about a feud with a female singer, and while she didn’t mention any names, the media believes that it’s Katy Perry.
During an interview with Billboard, Swift opened up about this female entertainer, and the problems that she has had with her over the years. Swift still did not name names.
“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?’ She did something so horrible, and I was like, ‘Oh we’re just straight up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.”
And apparently Katy Perry responded to those remarks.

If Katy Perry and Taylor Swift don’t like each other, that’s one thing. But if Perry has done things to “sabotage” Swift (as the singer says in her very own words), that’s another. And if the rumors are true about Perry’s Super Bowl performance on Feb. 1, the world will know about it. According to Gawker, however, this is nothing but chatter at this point, and no one really knows what Katy is planning for this years halftime show.
A source reportedly told Hollywood Life that Katy plans to “ruin” Taylor during her Super Bowl performance… but would Perry actually do something to make fun of the Welcome To New York singer? Would it be worth it to upset people, many of whom are fans of both singers?
“Katy will be doing something on stage during her performance that will be directed towards Taylor. She is working on it to be a visual or a lyric related jab,” said the HL source. And, of course, many have to wonder just what Katy could do to “ruin” Swift without ruining her own career. People have already been throwing ideas around, and those have ranged from Katy making a comment by way of changing song lyrics to Katy bringing Kanye West on stage to make fun of Swift in a rap.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there has been some chatter about a duet during the Super Bowl halftime show… but not with Kanye. Rumor has it that Katy Perry is trying to get Pharrell Williams on stage with her.
