Rapper J. Cole Set To Marry After Allegedly Knocking Up ‘Side Chick’
Roc Nation rapper J. Cole (real name Jermaine Lamarr Cole) will be walking down the aisle with Melissa Heholt, his college sweetheart and girlfriend of ten years. The two met when they attended St. John’s University in Queens, New York, where Heholt was a double major. After college, Cole became one of the more popular names in hip-hop while Heholt is now a highly sought-after wedding planner.
News of their upcoming nuptials came shortly after the release of Cole’s third studio album, Forest Hills Drive. The record was released last month, and has proven to be both a critical and commercial success. Cole is currently hard at work, touring behind the album as well as working on new music. It’s clear that 2014 was a great year for Cole. Sources close to the couple say that the rapper gave her a flawless four carat diamond ring and that the date and location of the wedding have already been set.

According to reports, Cole proposed to Melissa back in 2010. However, there was no sign of a ring. Recently, several reports have surfaced claiming that Cole will be having a baby with another woman named Bria, who is rumored to be his “side chick.”
The rumors regarding Cole’s relationship with Bria started when, shortly after it was revealed that Cole was marrying Melissa, Bria posted a picture of someone that looks like J. Cole leaving a hotel room. It also shows Bria, who took the photo, seemingly naked in bed. According to reports, Bria was jealous because Cole proposed to Melissa instead of her, which is why she decided to post the picture.
In a recent Instagram post, Bria revealed her baby bump on a photo with the caption, “Mama, did you f**k… lol.” A photo of a baby bump doesn’t immediately point towards Cole as the father, but it was the caption that was the damning piece of evidence this time around. The caption came from a line in Cole’s song Trouble, which led to speculation that Cole might be the father of the child.
As far as the rumors go, it seems that Cole has been spending a lot of time with Bria. However, Cole neither confirms nor denies his relationship with the woman. J. Cole is keeping quiet about his involvement with Bria and the “break baby” rumors. Maybe it’s because Cole has a busy year ahead, especially since he has a successful record to promote and a wedding to plan.
