‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Spoilers: Will A New Couple Get Together When The Series Returns or Not?
There has been some talk that a new couple may soon be walking the halls of Grey-Sloan Memorial once the winter hiatus is over, but don’t place bets on it just yet. Although it has been rumored that Dr. Owen Hunt and McDreamy’s sister, Dr. Amelia Shepherd, could be soon dating, Grey’s Anatomy creator, Shonda Rhimes, says it isn’t a done deal yet.
According to the site CarterMatt, Rhimes responded to a fan’s question on Twitter and it indicates that she hasn’t made a firm decision about whether to hookup to two characters.

If Hunt were to find a new romance on the show, Amelia is probably his best shot because most of the other Grey’s women are already taken. It looks like that new pals Callie, as in Dr. Callie Torres, and Owen are encouraging each other to move on in their lives and get back into the dating game. Callie may be the one trying to get Owen and Amelia together. However, Callie getting back into the dating game could be problematic as she just broke up her marriage to Dr. Arizona Robbins and they share a child together. When the show comes back there will be some tension between the two exes. Could it be because Callie is exploring the dating scene again?
As reported by Venture Capital Post, Dr. Alex Karev and his girlfriend, resident Dr. Jo Wilson, may be contemplating marriage in the near future. However, they may wish to set some ground rules about who comes and goes from their house before they do tie the knot. Jo has been irritated by the influx of Alex’s friends, including their new roommate, Arizona.
Of course, there is still the Kepner-Avery baby drama to get through, plus the possibility of Derek taking a job in D.C. away from his family. Then both Arizona and Amelia will have to figure out how to save Dr. Nicole Herman’s life without getting the fetal surgeon fellow, Arizona, fired from her job due to confiscating Herman’s medical records and breaking every privacy protocol in the book.
As reported by the Inquisitr, Grey’s Anatomy will return on Thursday, January 29 and start answering some of the questions that have been on fans’ minds since the hiatus.
