Janet Jackson Named PETA’s ‘Grinch of the Year’

janet jackson

If PETA had its way Janet Jackson would be on the naughty list as the singer topped the animal rights’ group list of celebrity grinches this year.

And PETA had some pretty serious words for the Jackson sister.

PETA Writes:

“When Janet Jackson had her infamous “wardrobe malfunction” during the Super Bowl, at least the flesh that popped into view was her own—unlike the stolen animal skins that she drapes herself with, which are as dead as her taste in fashion (not to mention her career). Ms. Jackson, you’re just plain nasty.”

According to StarPulse, Jackson will be launching her own fur line in 2012. Jackson has teamed up with Blackglama to create a luxury mink collection, which will feature everything from coats to gloves.

Jackson said:

“The art of fashion is one of my great passions. I’ve worked for years to bring a collection into the world. Partnering with Blackglama is very exciting.”

Of course, Jackson isn’t the only celebrity to offend PETA this year. Cameron Crowe and Kim Kardashian were both high up on the list of celebrity grinches this year.

PETA took issue with Cameron Crowe’s latest movie, “We Bought a Zoo,” because the movie used real animals instead of state-of-the-art computer imaging, and Kim Kardashian because unlike her sister Khloe she hasn’t starred in her own PETA anti-fur ad.

PETA spokeswoman Wendy Wegner said:

“While the holidays may be known as the season of giving and peace on earth, that’s not always the case for our animal friends.”

Do you think Janet Jackson, Cameron Crowe, and Kim Kardashian deserve the honor of being PETA’s “Celebrity Grinches?”

PETA and HSUS are nutso animal extremists out for nothing but themselves $$$. They don't care one bit for animals! They are a bunch of fakes who are crashing big because the public is finally finding out that their hard-earned money doesn't go to helping animals at all – it goes to helping the execs keep their high buck homes, cars and island retreats!

Where is your evidence. HSUS isn't PETA. Maybe PETA does it I am not sure but HSUS doesn't do it. I generally prefer HSUS. Some stuff PETA does is good but the Mario kill Takoni w/e the name is exaggerated. Pixelated fur is not real.

Zaxtor Znort – my proof – well, let's see – I work for a leading agriculture magazine and HSUS is fighting us all the way to end the consumption of animals and make everyone vegan. They also want to take away our privilage of owning pets. They do NOT care about animal protection. It's a fake front to dupe people into giving them money, which they keep for themselves and their radical ways. They give less than 1% of money they take in to shelters. They use the Humane Society name to also dupe people. Those commercials they have are to tug at the people who love animals. If people would only do some research – they would find out what HSUS is really out to do. THE FBI and the IRS are investigating them. Go to and read all the evidence there about the crooks and liars HSUS, as well as PETA. All you need to do is google HSUS and HumaneWatch.

Trish Diedrich is PETA wants to end petownership not HSUS. HSUS wants stricter laws against pet abusers and neglecters. I agree with it. Animal abuser deserves to be harshly punished. I am not anti-pet ownership. Humanewatch are evil. They're manhaters and founded by a convicted drunk driver. CCF is its core and they killed more people than everything combined. They're founded by big tobaccos and 97% of your money goes to this dumb hick Rick Berman's pocket. I vehemently oppose humanewatch and ccf. Anyone who support them are manhaters and child-haters because they're pro child obesity. I have evidence

You we're misleaded by these evil people. stuff I collected from many sources.

CCF / Humanewatch are neo-fascists far-right morons who doesn't let you express your opinion even if you're civil. They're very anti-freedom and pro censorship. (warning contain some language)

And again like they said before.
Rick Berman He attacks Mother Against Drunk Drivers & the HSUS on behalf of corporate clients in the food & beverage industry.
He claims tanning beds are good for you.
He claims mercury in many fishes doesn't hurt you.
He claims transfats cleans up your arteries.
He claims secondhand smoking doesn't harm you.

    (not my site but informative)

    They're pro cancers

Richard Berman is an influence peddler. He has worked out a scheme to funnel charitable donations from wealthy corporations into his own pocket. In exchange, he provides a flurry of disinformation, flawed studies, op-ed pieces, letters to the editor, and trade-industry articles, as well as access to his high-level government contacts, who are servants of the industries he represents.

Zaxtor Znort No, I'm afraid you are mislead and very misinformed and you are duped by them like so much of the public. My company does many articles about HSUS and how they give less than 1% of what they take in to helping animals, the rest goes to the execs. HSUS DOES want to end pet ownership and they are trying to end the agricultural industry. They are lying crooks. Many large companies who were going to donate money to their cause found out about their true mission and pulled out. I know the truth and what PETA and HSUS are all about. They are the evil, crazy, animal haters. Sadly, you are being brainwashed.

  6. Zaxtor Znort

Trish Diedrich You're mislead and is NOT HSUS wants to end pet.
Humanwatch blames their problems on others. They collect 97% profit and tuirns around and says HSUS does it. Is like I would say I smash windows and says you did it (blaming my crimes on you). Actually I don't break windows. Also HW blows a fortune on their stupid expensive slanderous ads. I am not brain washed did you even read those urls or you're just another pro-pesticides, pro-transfat manhating / animalhating bigot?. Your sources are flawed they come from child haters, pro-drunk drivers and morons who wants to remove the underage drinking laws means kids can drink, people can drink while driving. Rick Berman is the worst human being on Earth and he doesn't deserve to live in my opinion. He is gather money from mass murderers which makes him a killer. You don't have to kill people directly to be a killer. Why exiled presidents are charged with murderers when they didn't kill directly but had other people doing for them?. Muammar example didn't kill people as I known of but was responsible for many, many deaths. Bin Laden didn't killed the 6,000 people in the WTC disaster he had other doing for him. Shoko Asahara killed dozen of people and injured over 6,400 people, he didn't do it himself. He had other people doing for him.
Rick Berman is the same. Tobacco companies killed more people than terrorism, conquistador, Hitler and black plagued combined and guess what they didn't do it directly. All the information from CCF / HW are from tobacco companies and people believing in what these mass murderers says make me sick and their lives are worthless. I normally don't care for people I never met but when it comes to hurting others with chemicals is wrong. If a family members of yours dies because of smoking or secondhand smoking and you still support these killers you're betraying the decease one and laughing AT them. Example tobacco workers I see them as killers.
People working in tobacco companies feeds their family out of killing many people. Which is wrong. terrorists and murderers who robs millions tries to survive by killing people and that isn't right.
If someone is broke and kills someone to be rich and feed his kids is it right?
    Answer is NO.
