Jennifer Aniston Thinks The Best Thing To Do To The Tabloid Press Is ‘Ignore Them’

Jennifer Aniston is one of those unfortunate Hollywood actresses who has the media, tabloid press, and paparazzi literally obsessed with every move the Friends starlet makes.

When the ego boost of the fame dies down, and the reality of not being able to go out in public without fear of being spotted in some uncompromising position, and photographed, it makes it hard for stars like Jennifer to live normal lives.

But according to the Cake star, who spoke with CBS Sunday Morning, the best way to deal with the incessant coverage and lies is to ignore them.

Jennifer Aniston told Lee Cowan, in the interview due to be broadcast tomorrow, “I Just don’t pay attention. I think I used to. There was a period where I was hell-bent on saying, ‘That’s not true, that’s not right, that’s not fair.’ And now I just think you have to let it roll off your back and you realize, I think everyone knows it’s all BS and, like, soap opera on paper.”

Aniston added that these days constant tabloid speculation surrounds her engagement to actor Justin Theroux, as she revealed that the couple try to ignore the constant barrage of stories about them.

“The main thing is to try to just keep refocusing back on what you know is true and what makes you guys happy. We know what our truth is. [The rest] is all just static,” she said.

Fox News reported that when Cowan asked Jennifer Aniston, “All the attention on your personal life — how hard has it made it for you just to have, like, a normal relationship with somebody?” Jennifer replied, “Yeah. Well, it’s also very normal. I understand it. But my relationship is very normal. My relationships have been wonderful, normal relationships that exist within this circus of curiosity and what-not.”

You can catch the full interview tomorrow when the CBS Sunday Morning interview with Jennifer Aniston is aired.
