Has Farrah Abraham’s boyfriend been revealed?
Although the former Teen Mom, who the Inquisitr reported will not return for Season 5, has yet to reveal news of a new relationship, she recently shared a set of photos, which appeared to confirm she is dating again.
“Happy New Year,” Abraham wrote, along with a collage of three photos of herself and her mystery man. In one of Abraham’s photos, she and her guy are sharing a kiss. In the others, they are striking couple-y poses, with his arm around her waist.
Since fans met Abraham on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant Season 1, she hasn’t had much success in the dating world. In fact, two of her most talked about relationships were reportedly not relationships at all.
In early 2013, Farrah Abraham’s boyfriend was said to be James Deen, but he denied ever dating her — despite her own claims.
“What happened was that the company doing the movie came to me and said, ‘We want you for this.’ I tried to tell them that I’m probably the worst person to choose for this because people are going to recognize me. Even if you try to obscure my face, people still know me and are going to know it’s James Deen in the movie with her. I said this two weeks ago when we were in the booking process,” Deen explained, according to a Today report.
“They wanted to send us out on a date and then call the tabloids to come… I said absolutely not. I’m not going to pretend to be dating somebody. I’m a big believer in honesty and I don’t like weird media ploys, it’s just not my style. I told them that I am not a prostitute and I’m not going to go on fake dates with people for the tabloids. This was not going to be able to be leaked as a weird, boyfriend/girlfriend sort of thing.”
In late 2013, Abraham went public with a DJ from Florida named Brian Dawe. After the pair were photographed during a cozy outing at a park, Abraham publicly claimed they had been dating for months and they were ultimately cast on VH1’s Couple’s Therapy. However, before filming was set to begin, Dawe went to press, claiming their relationship was nothing more than a publicity stunt.
“I got myself in this situation because I was only thinking about the profit I would be making from doing this show. That was wrong,” Dawe admitted to Starcasm. “In the back of my head I realized I could not participate in a TV show that would further exploit Farrah, and where I would have to lie to be involved.”
After meeting at a nightclub in Florida, Dawe said he and Abraham stayed in touch and within a few weeks, he was labeled as Farrah Abraham’s boyfriend and cast in a reality show.
“Farrah told me to lie to the network and tell them the relationship was real,” Dawe claimed, adding the network was going to pay him “a substantial amount of money.”
As for Farrah Abraham’s boyfriend on New Year’s, his name has yet to be revealed.
